This vacation home has a great location just a short walk to Lake Lodge Beach! Other amenities include access to a shared pool, tennis courts, and a playground. This three-bedrooms, two-bath home also has central air, an outside barbecue grill, internet access, and a TV. You'll have a Ping-Pong table and air hockey in lower level bonus room!

Other entertainment options at home include a DVD player and an HDTV. This getaway also has a fireplace for those cold evenings and a kitchen complete with a coffeemaker, microwave oven, refrigerator, stove, and toaster.

Yosemite National Park is about a 26-mile drive from your door. Pine Mountain Lake is a gated community where guests can enjoy the swimming pool and three beaches. There is also an onsite golf course, tennis courts, horseback riding, and a country club.

Nice(?) Spot on Cresthaven

The house was roomy and cozy. The furniture, carpets and drapes were outdated and dingy. The kitchen appliances were all great. The housewares were basic. There was a large selection of tea available, but the Folgers coffee container was empty- someone left it in there as a tease. No sugar in the house either. Salt and pepper looked to be from the 90s. I still used it and it was fine. The master bedroom was great- the bed was comfortable. Except no kleenex in the place, and the t.p. was all prison grade 1-ply. The game room was shabby and underwhelming. A couch that faced the corner, a saggy ping pong table with one bootleg ball and a Pop A Shot basketball game that looked to be from the Fresno County Fair circa 2003. There were also two or three locked doors down there- i'm guessing thats where the fun was. No wonder there were no photos of the game room in the listing… There was a crusty dirty dish and fork in the kids room dresser- some fat kid snuck a midnight snack of mac n cheese and hid the evidence. Good on ya, mate! The deck was great, except for stargazing as the trellis blocked the sky and the neighbors excessive unshaded outdoor lights created harsh glare that was unfortunate and disappointing. but I still saw a few shooting stars. The window blinds are rusty and tough to manage open and closed. The a/c worked great. I’d stay here again!!

Avoid this property/ AC issues

The property was clean and conveniently located from Yosemite national park. However, they had the thermostat locked and did not provide us with the PIN to unlock so we can adjust the temperature. Upon bringing this is up to property manager, he reconfigured the thermostat that will allow us to reduce the temperature to only 69 degrees which was ok with us but the house temperature will not fall below 74 degrees as the AC was not working. Me and my pregnant wife sweat our night through during our 2 nights stay and we didn’t receive reasonable compensation for the inconvenience. We did receive only $33 refund after spending $600+ for our stay which was totally unreasonable. I would recommend to look for other properties and avoid booking this one.

Five Star Location with Two Star Amenities

This house is located in a beautiful area with close access to the lake. However, the interior needs some major TLC. Kitchen utensils and things like baking sheets are sparse or non-existent. The interior also had several spiderwebs with accompanying spiders, and crumbs and wrappers under the beds. The house has great potential but seems like a real lack of effort (as others have noted in their reviews) to make this a great place to stay. Additionally, there is no information provided about the surrounding area so do your research before you arrive.

Nice cabin

We had a nice time at the cabin. The couches were pretty worn and had crumbs under cushions nut otherwise the cabin looked and smelled clean. The recreation room was detached and very cold with no heat so we didn't spend much time in there. Overall it was nice and we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and comfortable

Very clean comfortable home. Quiet and relaxing friendly neighborhood. Just short walk to lake with small beach area. Had some issues with check in, we were given the wrong code to open lock box but the property manager was near by and came and let us in. No issues with checking in at gate like some reviews I read. We never waited long to get through gate once we did the initial check in. Only down side is house is dated so no modern conveniences, and kitchen has all the basics but tools are not all the great so a cook like myself it was disappointing but nevertheless I was able to make few really good meals for my family. For the price it was a good value.

House suited our needs

The property location is great not far from a beachy cove with an option to take the taxi from there to the Marina. The rooms were enough for our group of 3 ladies and 3 teenagers bunk beds are a plus. The deck was enjoyable we got to eat breakfast and had our coffee in the morning and enjoyed grilling dinner at night when it cooled off. Quiet neighbor. The house is a little dated it needs a little TLC and much more attention is need in the kitchen. More appliances and more pots and pans for cooking and baking are needed. New knives and utensils are badly needed to be able to cook meals properly. We brought our own paper plates and napkins and forks to avoid doing dishes. Also it would of been great to have extra garbage bags, luckily I did pack some just in case. Upgrades are definitely needed but the house served our needs for a short weekend getaway.

1.5 stars - Dirty

The one star this listing gets from me is that I enjoyed the trail outside the home. That's it. The house is extremely dirty and there's no clear sign of pride in ownership from the management company. When we arrived, the floors were disgusting; old splattered food throughout the house and the walls had multiple stains. I was able to wipe some stains off the walls with just warm water and napkins, but there was no way I could tackle the floors. There were potato chips under every bed, makeup on the towels and sheets. I put everything to wash again. I called and they put me in touch with the cleaning crew. Rhonda was whom I spoke with and she stated "Well, that house is very outdated" as if it was an allowable excuse for it being dirty. Nonetheless, she sent over someone to do the floors. When we came back the hardwood floors and tile were good, but they missed the food under the bed. I decided to leave it, there was no way I could get the vacuum in the hallway to work either. I was then left a very rude voice message about "what my thinking was" behind rewashing everything and to "call back and explain". This was very concerning because I had stated in my rental comments that my family and I have allergies; I didn't know I had to explain my medical history about our dermatologist moving us to FREE & CLEAR detergent and softener sheets, besides the fact that they weren't at the level of clean I was comfortable with. There are so many reviews where they promised to fix old issues, but they weren't the master walk-in shower still has a broken handle, meaning it's missing and someone has to close the door for you from the outside. The master sink hot water handle is still loose and doesn't work properly. The rugs and sofa are in DESPERATE need of shampooing. The grill was so dirty we couldn't use it with the level of grime built up. The play room was a disaster with things thrown about the place. We never had directions for the garage so we parked just out front the door on the driveway. The majority of the pillows are stained and should be replaced; most of them didn't even have proper covers (just cases). It is just a shame this place is mismanaged as it has really good bones and could truly be stellar.

Good Family vacation home

Over all the house is very nice and has a good location, walking distance to the beach. The house has nice speciose rooms and great bedding and offers abundance of towels and toiletries. The deck is very speciose and well equipped to spend time and BBQ. The negative aspects of the house was that we were given an incorrect lock box combination and were stranded outside but the customer support was very helpful in assisting and providing us with the correct code. The downfall of this property is that upper surfaces closer to the sealing of the house were covered in dust and spider web and the carpets were dirty. The tea pot was rusted inside and the master bathroom the faucet leaks and the shower door is missing a handle and the shower head is loose. This property has a lot of potential but requires deep cleaning and minor renovations.

Not impressed

The location was beautiful and the house pretty clean, besides cobwebs in the windows but I suppose that’s to be expected in the mountains. My main complaint is the poor stocking of the kitchen. The listing is for eight people, but the pots and pans are not appropriate to cook for a group of eight. The kitchen is missing a lot of staple items, such as dish towels dish rags and basic spices which is usually what I find when renting from Home Away. There was no welcome packet or check out instructions. Upon arrival the lockbox code that was sent to me did not work. Every time We’ve stayed in the mountains a complementary pack of wood was sitting next to the fireplace so we can enjoy a nice fire, This was not provided. The outdoor patio showed chairs in the listing pictures which we were looking forward to using, unfortunately there we no sitting chairs when we arrived, only lounge chairs. We also couldn’t find a mop or dust pan So we were not able to keep the kitchen floors clean during our stay or clean up upon checkout. Overall the house had more of a hotel feel vs. the homey feel we are used to. I hope this is just a one time incident and not indicative of what to expect from Home Away for future stays.

With some TLC this property can be a 5 star

-The house is not clean! The front entrance was full of leaves, dirt, and spider webs and we had to clean it. The outside stairway to the game room was full of spider webs and had to be cleaned before we could go into the room. Area rugs and upholstery are stained and pretty disgusting There are spider webs in every room on the walls, ceiling, and especially the windows and screens. Kitchen cabinets inside are dirty and shelf liners need to be installed in all shelves, and installed correctly. The outsides of the cabinets were filthy until I asked that they be cleaned. Clean the kitchen! The cleaning crew should report to you about cleanliness of cupboards in and out. A renter should not have to ask for this to be done and should not be cleaning the house! -The kitchen is very under stocked for a rental. The following items are missing: Microwavable containers for food – there was NO glass anything that could be used to heat up food 8 oz glasses - The only glasses were very large cracked plastic ones that barely fit in the dishwasher. Measuring cups and spoons, tongs, cookie sheet Potholders – need at least 4… there was ONE and it was black with burn marks and filthy, stuffed in an unlined, dirty drawer. Cutting board – the ones there were there were plastic ones that needed to be thrown in the trash There was one very tiny dish soap bottle and only 2 dishwasher capsules, and you asked that we wash the dishes before we leave. Supplying more soap is a small amenity that goes a long way. - The pink queen bedroom closet did not have a bar to hang clothes. - There were 4 hangers in the house when we arrived. We had to ask for more. - All vertical blinds need to be operational. If not, fix them! - Bunk bed room has a drawer in the dresser with NO bottom… it’s in the closet leaning against the wall.. The extra pillows are just gross! One has bloodstains on it and another has burn holes. -Garage door motor is not operational. Garage looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. -Vacuum cleaner motor doesn’t work and the central vacuum barely works -Master bath toilet had to be repaired because it didn’t fill properly. That’s something the management company should have checked before we rented! -Outside patio had ashes from the BBQ on the deck that we had to clean up. There was no charcoal brickets or lighter fluid. It's a small amenity to provide a little for renters. We paid a cleaning fee and it was not clean!
