The staff are incredible, they put so much effort and care into their service ✨ Very close to bus & train stops, very easy to get around. Worth staying here for the views, it’s honestly breathtaking!

I LOVEEEE this hotel! I wish my husband and I stayed longer here. We were on our honeymoon and we were doing a Eurotrip. The location is incredible. Once you step outside, you see the alps and all in its beauty. The hotel is also really nice. We loved that they had free breakfast every morning and it had GREAT selection. Staff was super helpful and attentive. We got lost taking our train to get here and we got here at like 12am and the staff that was at the front desk was SOOO nice and accommodating especially the hectic travel we had. Some might not like the uphill walk to the downtown area but loved it and thought of it as exercise! They also had spa and we tried out the 5 course meal they had during dinner in the hotel. Everything was exceptional. My husband and I promised that we would come back here and I honestly can't wait! 10/10 one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in.

Friendly staff. Quite a walk to the station but they provide shuttle service for a fee. You can also take a bus to the station just infront of the hotel but with big luggages it’s better to arrange the shuttle service. Overall stay was great.

Lives up to the hype
Excellent boutique hotel in a great area with incredible views. My sister and I stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. All amenities were top notch and the staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding and the spa was such a treat. The complimentary laundry facilities were so appreciated as we had been travelling for some time before our stay at the Glacier. Overall, I would not hesitate to return.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel ! The staff were all extremely helpfully and friendly ! The massages were great and the masseuse went out of her way to help my husband with his lower back issues. We both loved the spa room with sauna, steam, hot tube and waterbed relaxation area was amazing !we will definitely be coming back ! The only thing we would say we wished the dinner/lunch menu had more food choices ! The breakfast included in our stay was outstanding !

Boutique Hotel Glacier is a magical place. All the staffs are so friendly and they go out of their way to accommodate us. Hotel is beautiful, breakfast is top notch, and mostly their spa is just of this world! We loved our stay so much we recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

Highly recommend
Would highly recommend this hotel. It is located in a fantastic spot, close to shops and restaurants. A bus stop is right outside which takes you to the terminal where you can access cable cars and trains, and the bus also takes you to the main areas for shops and restaurants. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely spa with amazing views is also available for guests to use. The rooms are clean and the one we had was a very good size.

Spectacular
Beautiful property. The room was spectacular, highly recommend upgrading to a room with a view of the Eiger mountain, well worth it as it is breathtaking. Service was spot on, very attentive whenever anything was needed. Restaurant and bar are very nice albeit extremely expensive. Note that the hotel is about a 10 minute very uphill walk to the main village. Would be 5 stars if they had a pool, spa and more equipped gym. Highly recommend!

Well-located halfway between Grindelwald Terminal (for cable cars) and Grindelwald town. Very nice spa. Thoughtfully designed rooms and awesome balcony view. Good service in the lounge. Excellent breakfast!

Absolutely loved our stay
We absolutely loved everything about this hotel and will definitely stay here again. Very hard to fault! 1. Rooms were super comfy, stylish and modern. 2. Excellent buffet breakfast 3. Outdoor heated spa is divine looking out to the mountains 4. beautiful cosy lobby with picturesque backdrop 5. Only 5-6 min walk to the main town but can also take the bus which comes complimentary with the hotel.

Best hotel in Grindelwald!
This hotel is amazing! The staff is amazing and they make you feel like you are at home. Helpful, attentive and very friendly. I rarely leave ratings but I have to say I was endlessly impressed with this hotel and would recommend it highly.

Boutique Hotel stay in Grindelwald
Good location and view of Grindelwald from the room. Staff are friendly and breakfast offers a good selection of items. I also tried the massage (after the long hikes) and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The property grounds are beautiful! Access to the day spa is a big perk as well as the included breakfast (which was delicious). I was surprised that there was no mini-fridge or mini bar in the room for the quality of the hotel. With that being said, the bar downstairs was great for a cocktail in the evening. Can’t beat the view!

Good: the staffs are nice, food is good. Breakfast is great. Bad: room close to road side and quite noisy until 1:00am on special event date. it is quiet normally after 10:00pm on normal date. Too many fly especially at dinner time.

Better avoid a comfort double room
Agreeing with other reviewers that the service of this hotel is great. Everyone was nice. The restaurant serves very good dinner with friendly and attentive staff members. The free laundry (washing and drying) is also handy and rare for a 4-star hotel. We did not get the good rooms as described by other reviewers in a supposedly special trip. Our comfort double room (the last room we could get hold of, which is quite expensive compared with other hotels in the area) has got no balcony, no view, facing the car park and road on the 1st floor (which is actually on the same level as the road and can have quite frequent traffic noise in the morning). I understand that this is a small hotel with only 28 rooms and usually fully booked. There is really not much thing that the very helpful staff members can help. I appreciate their attempt to help though.
