"We had such a great time on our trip and the lake house was actually the icing on the cake! It was so serene and beautiful - the outside screened in porch was to die for - if it had been a little bit warmer I would have slept out there - just gorgeous. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen was a dream to cook in! "This is a top notch property. The property is a small one so the owners have the ability to treat the facility and the guests with all of their attention and respect. While I was doing research about places to stay, I reached out to people I knew in the area. Two of my contacts told me they had done some remodeling work at the hotel and I'd truly be satisfied if I did choose this property. They were right! I loved staying here and after getting the grand tour of this 124 year old property from Calvin, the owner, I had even more respect for this historical place. The rooms were just right and very clean and I was always greeted and checked on to see if there was anything that I needed. I will always stay at this property when I'm home and they have rooms available. I think this place should be designated or registered as a Mississippi Historical Landmark. "
