One of the reason I chose this hotel was because online listed it as pet friendly and breakfast. Sounded good but upon checking in the guy kept saying “no pets” right. Leaving me confused 🤔 this made my stay very difficult. And the breakfast was lacking in every way smh. Overall treatment by other staff was very pleasant and helpful. But next time I may reconsider stayin due to this experience. Pet situation just didn’t sit right with me truth be told

Darrell roaches crawling all over the room. We couldn’t even sleep there even though we paid an Expedia told me that they weren’t going to refund me my money or find me anywhere else to go after I drove 10 hours with my children to a funeral and couldn’t even sleep where I paid to sleep at.

The rooms are NOTHING like the pics on the website. Extremely dirty. It looked as if nothing was cleaned. And i was told housekeeping just left that room. A king bed only had 2 pillows, no cups, no ice bucket, no wash cloths, only 1 towel, bedsheets were Extremely stained and looked like it was never changed, it looks as if the bed was just remade. And the sofa in the room, I wouldn't sit on if i put a towel on it first. It was just one BIG stain. I should of known better when the front desk asked if i wanted to look at the room first. Never a good sign 😕 we didn't even stay the night!!!

The room was dirty, no cups or face clothes. Bathroom counter and tray had gooey stuff. We didn’t bother with the shower. After 13 hours of driving we were too tired to leave. Sheets were on upside down, lamp did not work. When we arrived at the reception desk no one came to assist for 10 minutes I had to call to get attention. Poorly advertised

Disgusting. Blood stationed bath towels, no hand towels, and no washcloths. Had to ask 3 times for new bath towels. Mascara and something pink on all 3 pillow cases. Asked for new ones and they never got brought. Also did not have a phone, remote control to the tv, or light bulbs in lamps.

Booked a double queen online. When we checked in we were told that double beds hasn't been available for more than a week. So 2 grown men had to share a bed. Hot water didn't work and sink was stopped up. We booked 2 nights. Left after the first. They would not refund the 2nd. night. Never stay there again.

Not what I expected
We reserved a room for the game on Saturday at ECU. Very old and outdated, which I can live with if clean. Unfortunately it was not clean. Saw a couple of roaches. Beds looked made but I doubt the sheets were changed. Previous guests' clothes were stuffed under the ottoman. Water stains on the ceiling in the bathroom. Shower did not drain. A couple of either gnats or fleas - I couldn't tell. The staff was friendly and nice but the quality of the room is unlike any place I have ever stayed at.

Poor check in time, toilet didn't flush and after maintenance came and fixed the toilet leaked. Room was dirty and AC was off upon arrival. It took 2 hours to cool the room down. Exterior was filthy. I will not stay here again.

We had no lamps, no smoke detectors, beer left in the refrigerator, the floor that looks like it hasn’t been washed, blood on the curtains! No remote We got in about 2:30 in the morning which I let them know we had all this crap when we got in the room I had my grandchildren with me. Tried to lay my head down the beds were at least decent, but everything else was gross the next morning I had to book a room at the Hampton Inn, which cost what is the amount of money for one night and lost the money for the other room. When I told the front desk how upset I was and explain I’m not a princess, but this is uncalled for, the gentleman at the front desk tells me the room was a DNR which means do not rent. Apparently it was the process of being redone and they weren’t even supposed to put us in there. I was miserable I was so upset and all though the staff was apologetic and decent, I wound of having to spend a couple hundred dollars extra of the little bit of money I had to spend on my grandchildren. The second room because of memorial day weekend and no notice was more money by like $50 for one night when it was for two nights at the other place. I wasn’t trying to save money but on the other place but I never expected all of that, and I wasn’t expecting to have to double pay. Very upset. Very very upset.

The hotel was outdated, dirty, and the shower/tub was broken. There was a hole where the drain line should be and the shower handle/plate fell off the wall. I was supposed to be there through the weekend but left after only one night. It was disgusting!

Unfortunately, the bathroom flooded apparently from leaky toilet seal.at 9:30 pm. The solution the front desk offered was to send a plumber to repair. All we wanted was a good night's sleep, so we checked out.

The staff was friendly and courteous. We stayed 3 nights, ever morning we told the staff we had no hot water, then in evening we would ask if it was fixed, was told yes, but it never got hot. The in room phone line was cut, not useful when I tried calling front desk. We wont be staying there anymore.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful, but they can't make the building new. We had no hot water, there is no grab-bar in the bathtub. The showerhead is quite low. The pillows are old and felt like filled with badly-mashed potatoes. There was no remote for the TV, although the housekeeper did locate one for us. The "continental breakfast" consisted of apples, yogurt, coffee, and what tasted like watered-down Sunny-D orange flavored juice. We were disappointed enough that we did not stay the second night as orginally planned. Again, I cannot say enough about how friendly the staff was, but it just didn't make up for the accommodations.

The microwave did not work at all. The refrigerator did not have any shelves. The toilet would not flush, and was nasty. Worst of all it had roaches! We had to leave everything we had in the back of our truck, when we got home, and bomb everything with roach bomb. Hopefully not to bring them onto our home.
