Did not realize there would be a pending 135 $ charge out on my account for incidentals due to using a third party to reserve a room. Overall, amount of 300 some dollars on the account for it. Lucky had enough in there to cover it. Front desk staff was not pleasant to deal with when inquiring why this was the case and if there was a receipt of any kind to show this, in case there were issues with removing the charge. She stated no, very bluntly there was nothing to show this. I’ve had bad experiences where this has happened and has become a prolonged issue. I recognize it will go back on but this isn’t just pocket change for a lot of people.

Great stay - always!
I have stayed at this location a few different times. The hotel is always clean, including the rooms. Pretty up-to-date furnishings. Nice clean bathroom with big mirror. Staff is always polite. Person when I check in I have had a few different times and she always seems happy to see any customer coming through the door. They actually do have a hot tub and it is hot! Feels so good after a long day of driving. There is a restaurant almost sharing the parking lot with the hotel. Hot breakfast is.. okay. Not great. They have the egg omelettes that are obviously Frozen. They're gravy is not great. They do have the Holiday inn cinnamon rolls. Those are always good. Breakfast opens at 6:30. For me that is a little late. The first time I stayed it was almost all the way ready by 6:00 and they let us (2 people) in. This time they kept it blocked off until dead on 6:30.

Everyone at the property was very nice. The road next to the property is vastly used by cars and trucks but nothing the property can control.

Great place to stay if going to Indy 500 race
We were very pleased with this hotel from the friendly check in to the plentiful breakfast. Our room was clean and well maintained. It showed a little wear but not overly so. One small thing that was a nice touch was the full size Dove products in the bathroom. How nice it was to have a name brand product to use. We would stay here again. The location was perfect to get to the Indy 500 race without staying in the crowded city.

The hotel was clean and service friendly. We picked this particular hotel because of pool. After we were checked in for about an hour or two we found out a pipe burst in pool room and part of ceiling fell in. So no swimming. Disappointing for two 10 year old I had with me.

Not my usual Holiday Inn experience
Parking was limited. We found the last parking place. We arrived at 10PM. No one at desk athough sign stated someone would return soon. After 15-20 minutes, we finally used the lobby phone and registration staff arrived promptly after that. No snacks to buy. We were directed to vending but it only took coins. Room temperature was 49...yes 49 when we finally got to room. Just a bad day.

Expedia was the problem, not the hotel. I changed my booking with an Expedia agent and they lost my new booking, but charged me anyway. When I called to inquire, the different agent just said they could do nothing & to take it up with the hotel. Very poor customer service from Expedia.

We stayed three nights and housekeeping only came to the room once and only made the beds. They did not empty the trash cans and did not refill the coffee. We had to ask for more towels for the bathroom and get more coffee from the front desk. We did enjoy the comfort of the beds and the indoor pool and the breakfast was always good.
