My family of four absolutely loved the Beachouse (one 'h'). The property is in an absolutely gorgeous location, steps away from the quiet beach of Gillam Bay. The house was beautiful and immaculate. Kudos to the house cleaner because this house was the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed at (and we've stayed in a lot on GTC and elsewhere). It was spotless! The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderfully decorated - we loved the themed rooms of turtles, palms, shells, and mermaid. The beds were super comfy too - just right. The living room and dining rooms were also comfortable and spacious. There also is an outdoor shower, which is nice. My only suggestion is that the decking needs to be redone as there were some saggy boards but it felt safe. We absolutely loved it and hope to come back in future years. Our family loved being steps away from the best beach on the island. It feels very private and you are conveniently close to town. We highly recommend McIntosh to eat and Sids to shop for groceries. Each bedroom has its own AC, the kitchen is spacious for cooking, and the living room is perfect for hanging out ... although, no one really hangs out anywhere other than the incredible back porch, which looks out on Gillam Bay Beach and the moonrise by night.
