Could not get out of the car the place half deserted the pool was broken and empty there was no one to find to check in A little kid who maybe lived at the end of the dirt road with tiny strip of beach no where to eat no pool no lounge chairs a disaster ! We canceled thank god chase card services helped us and we had to quickly find a very expensive because last minute place to stay ! Do no go there take off site !

It's very rundown, building looks like it can collapse at any moment, landscaping not done sign from the main road is so dilapidated it Looks like old signs from American pickers. This place should not be on any booking site i did not stay there because i did not feel safe there is no lighting on property if something happens to you there no one would hear you scream. NOT A PLACE FOR TOURISM PERIOD

The property was nice but it wasn't cleaned up until the last 2 days of the stay. The Resort location was awesome because it was secluded and private. Not very busy at the time. Hospitality was great.

I recently stayed here because I was trying to escape the turmoil of the US a bit and gain some peace of mind as I am anxious and depressed more often than not. Staying at this resort was truly a wonderful experience , it’s quiet and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The property would benefit from more upkeep but the hotel gives you an outline of what to expect so there are no surprises , I’m fairly easy to please so that didn’t bother me either. A special thanks to Marcelle and Jefferson who were amazing and accommodating , I couldn’t have asked for a better experience ! Oh ! And the rooms ! Love them !

chill NO PROBLEM

great for privacy and relaxation. staff is great, Jefferson is the man to ask for. Can not recall the chefs name but he was very friendly and did a wonderful breakfast each morning. Pool and beach are great place to just chill. Best to stop at store for some essentials, snacks, BEER, JB RUM. We will return within 6 months.

Rooms were spacious and clean. Fantastic views of ocean. Grounds were well kept. We had a storm which dirtied the pool. Took 3 days to get it drained and cleaned. Other than the pool had a quiet and relaxing stay.

Not worth your money

This is not a safe place to stay I really would not recommend this hotel. First of all, we checked in at around 6 pm and there was nobody - not even security to ask questions.... Out of the blue a lady (possibly Manager/owner) told us they do not do late check ins.... We were given "the worst" room as she said at the property that was connected to her kitchen and were able to hear her conversation with her partner. I asked if we could be transferred to a different room. We were given a much bigger room upstairs, that was dirty: roaches and mice poop... and NO AC !!!! So we went back to the old / first room.... After 20 min. somebody knocked at our door: saying this is security open the door.... well at this point it was after 8pm... and I DID not call anybody since a) there was no security at this property b) there was NO PHONE!!! so I did not respond... he continued knocking I said we did not call you. He persisted saying he needs to check on something. We did not let him in, eventually he left BUT the entire night we were scared, that if he enters the room somehow he will cause some damage to our stay.... In the morning we went for breakfast at 7:50 am and were told we are too early breakfast starts at 8:00 am.... usually he would not serve breakfast that early... seriously 10 min... Their restaurant is not really serving food because this place has hardly any visitors so no DINNER.... Do not make our mistake do not book it. It is not safe and too far from Negril!

It’s not a resort. It works for a bed and shower. Our room had a small fridge, sink, basic dishes and silverware, coffee pot (which we didn’t use) and a microwave which we weren’t able to use (I think it was broken) so I used the toaster to cook burgers but the wire racks were too small for the toaster. The TV (with cable) worked good, when the power didn’t go out. The A/C worked ok, when the power didn’t go out. It was very quiet and peaceful there (I think we were the only ones there ). The free breakfast was good. The view was beautiful. I’d give it 1.5-2 stars out of 5.

Relaxed place, but you probably want a vehicle

We love this place because it so quiet and relaxed. The actual rooms are in good condition, but many of the buildings and other facilities are falling into major disrepair. That's kind of sad, but again, this is a place for peace and quiet! It is pretty isolated, so most people would want a vehicle to get off property. Outside each room there is seating, and it is very nice to read, weather permitting.

We loved the property and will book there again.

We used the salt water pool the most. The breakfast was really nice and the property was beautiful. Very mellow and private. Owners were cool and accommodating. My family is planning a family reunion there soon. Irie Jamaica

Peaceful, friendly, clean

I stay here when I visit Negril because it's away from the bustle of the beaches but close enuf if you want to go out at night. The rooms are big and they keep the grounds and rooms very tidy. Food is great. Its homey and a great place to bring little ones for a family vacation. This is really more for couples or families than singles. But I love it and will return on my next trip to the island. Very nicely done.

Just had a great time at Rhodes. It's a quiet, relaxing place. It's nicely spread out. You never have to fight for a lounger or a dining table. The staff is friendly. The rooms are not the pinnacle of luxury, but they are clean, everything works, and they are quiet as well. The hotel is a 20 minute cab ride from the hustle and bustle of Negril, so if you decide you want some action, it's easy to get to. Free breakfast was great. The views from the restaurant will make you never want to leave.

The resort was great for a completely relaxing quiet getaway. The services like wifi and cable were shotty in the room, but the wifi was available elsewhere on the grounds. The mountain top room we were in was very small with almost no amenities, but it was affordable and we had a great deal of privacy and quiet. My only issue was that the resort was several miles from the town so we ended up paying an arm and a leg going to and from town. Overall, I would stay here again for a quiet getaway, but get a nicer room with an ocean view. For a more happening vacation, this is not your place. The Eco portion of the experience was phenomenal though. The fruit trees growing on the property never fail to impress and the friendly peacocks were also great.

This hotel is more suitable for couples, or if you wanted a quite break. I found it too far from the centre of Nigril and had to pay €5.00 per person every time you wanted to get into the town centre. The Resturant was on a steep hill and there was too much climming for me. Ididnt like the fact that while I was eating dinner, there were bats flying around outside. there were also cobwebs in the bedroom that I was in.

Très bon séjour, excellent rapport qualité prix

Très bon séjour, l'endroit est absolument magnifique, le cadre est très reposant et calme, idéale pour se dépayser quelques jours sans trop de monde. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, première fois en Jamaique, l'île est très jolie, l'hôtel est très correct, excellent rapport qualité prix, la nourriture est bonne bien que pas très variée, le chef cuisinier est arrangeant et peut satisfaire les demandes spéciales. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour à l'hôtel Rhodes Beach Resort.

Unpleasant ending

Pros: I was pleased with the suroundings upon my arrival to Rhodes. Quite atmosphere with nice grounds. Room was clean and contained a refrigerator and toaster oven on top. Cons: There was also a non-functioning jacuzzi in a separate area of the room. Small, old fashioned 20 inches television hung from the ceiling and I could barely see the images. After checking the bed linen, I saw what appeared to be water mark or some kind of liquid stain on the fitted sheet as well as a tiny tear in the cover sheet. Nonetheless, the sheets smelled 'fresh' or rather like bleach and i gathered it was safe to sleep on. After day 3 and noticing that the same sheets were on the bed, after room was cleaned, I called housekeeping & requested change of bed linens. That's when the housekeeper informed me they don't change linens until after the 3rd day! I found this appalling since other resorts I've stayed at, changed linens everyday or every other day. Okay! Here's the 'kicker'...toilet did NOT flush for the ENTIRE week I was there!!! Thankfully, I was out during daytime and did not have to use this facility. I complained about it and was told they called the plumber, but no plumber ever showed up at checkout. This issue was in room GRAPEFRUIT & there was also a plumbing issue with room LEMON (smelled like waisted sewage). So, if you plan on booking this Resort, don't let them put in you either of these room!!!

Cozy middle level place with solitude.

Nice and quite. Away from everything but good taxi service. Great staff. Place is a bit over basic and you could just stay there but no entertainment and the food was just okay.

Very Nice

Excellent value for money. Very friendly staff who were always willing to help. The pool was located directly outside our room back door and the beach was only about 50 meters away. I would recommend this hotel as a very good family hotel that is secluded and located within very beautiful grounds.

Very good stay

We arrived late due to traffic in Montego Bay. The guard at the front gate was very friendly and accommodating and showed us to our room. The resort is very low key. The beach is on the small side but is uncrowded and the snorkeling in the bay is pretty good. The salt water pool is also very nice to dip in. The restaurant serves up simple and tasty meals and everyone at the resort is super friendly. our room was oceanfront upstairs. It was not luxurious but was clean and. had everything we needed. It was the perfect way for us to unwind for a few days before heading down the road to Negril.

A Little Touch of Paradise

Rhodes Hall is a beautiful holiday resort or retreat set in a small bay. Although very quiet the surroundings were breath taking. It hosts peacocks, horses, crocodiles and chickens. Our room which included a kitchenette was spacious and clean. we had everything we needed. The beach is small and cosy. Ideal if you like peace and quiet. Some areas of the property is being renovated including the restaurant so meals were brought to the room. Great for us!

Quiet on the oceanfront

Upon arrival, the resort had an old fashioned "plantation" feeling. The grounds people looked as if they were really working too hard. Staff was nice and accommendating. Room was prepared upon arrival. Friendly folks. Cottage was on the ocean front. Beautiful scene watching sunset on our back porch. Salt water pool right outside our back also. Rooms were outdated. Located several miles from "strip" of famous named resorts. Some taxis would not drive there in the "wee hours" they said it was too far in the wrong direction. Food was fair. Did not have several items that were listed on menu. This really was a place to stay if you are trying to avoid the hustle and bustle of the Negril area at a great rate.
