"My likes: Very clean and comfortable. Beds were great! We used the house as a base for our daily hiking trips as the location is perfect and it's a great place to unwind after a day on the trail. The shower pressure was the best; I've seen fire hydrants with less water pressure--great for a massage to relax aching muscles. My wishes: If you are going to do a lot of cooking and with a lot of people, you may wish to bring a little extra kitchen kit; there wasn't a great inventory of cooking utensils, pots, pans etc.; plenty is dishes and drinkware though. We precooked our meals and had sandwiches or take out so we didn't have many issues. If you eat our a lot it won't be a problem.being older, it would have been nice to have grab bars in the shower.absolutely love the gathering room especially the sliders--sometimes if felt like you were outdoors. Wished the drapes were easier to open/close. They could use replacement traverse rods.All in all, we loved the place, the location and the space. We'd stay there again."

"The property was a little dated but very clean. Staff friendly at check in. When I booked it the description was a little vague but when we got there we found that it was very adequate for our needs. We did not use the pool or exercise equipment in the main lodge so I can't give any opinion on that. There is no maid service but if you need anything the front desk can get it for you. When you are getting ready to check out, linens and towels have to be placed in laundry bags provided and all garbage needs to be taken out. Full printed instruction are given at check in."

"David is a #1 EXCELLENT host! From the beginning step of applying for this rental to checking out was flawless. David stayed in touch via emails throughout once we were accepted to rent. When we first arrived, we walked throughout the house to get oriented to the layout and WOW! it was immaculate and had a family feel. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking and eating wares. The bedrooms were each amazing!Our family has a reunion of sorts every year at the NH SCOT Highgland Games and Festival at Loon. We were married at the top of the mountain 9 years ago! We have a growing family and this house is a perfect fit for us.We will always request David's property rental again!"

"If you're in Waterville Valley, staying at the Snowy Owl is a great choice. Rooms could use a coat of paint but mine was clean and well appointed. The staff was delightful. Not just helpful and efficient but incredibly personable. The Indian restaurant within the Inn has excellent food. Service is good but understaffed. My server did the best she could on a Saturday night with several big groups there at the same time. But the food! So good. And, in terms of location, it's less than a 2 minute walk from town center. So convenient. Was also one of the more reasonably priced of the places to stay in the area."

"This house and property was perfect for our family gathering. There was plenty of space for our large group and there were fun activities on site. We especially enjoyed the pool table, hot tub, and outdoor fire pit. Great private location and convienient to Lincoln center. The property is clean and well maintained with nice amenities. The host responded quickly to our questions and provided helpful suggestions. Everyone in our group loved it!"
