Hospitality was poor by the owners, no greeting on arrival. The room was ok, house keeping was poor three days no clean or fresh towels. Ended up buying toiletries from supermarket and new towels. Breakfast was terrible, went out each day. The menu was limited allot of food was not available to order as they had no ingredients. The location of stay is perfect can walk to all amenities. Overall 4/10.

Stopped in Malia for one night to get a taste of the action - turns out Malia is a ghost town in October but enough places still open for a quiet night out. Hotel apartment was perfectly adequate for a night, and very cheap. Staff were very smiley and helpful. Bar is cheap and the pool area very nice. Room a bit shabby but fine if you’re not spending much time in there, we took the most basic option and ultimately you get what you pay for. Fridge-freezer worked fine. Shower was decent but the dispenser for shower gel/shampoo was empty so had to use a bar of hand soap (provided, along with ample towels - I’m sure they’d have refilled it but once you’re in there it’s a bit late!). We didn’t make use of the plug-in hob or the breakfast but literally hundreds of local food options. Location is spot on, a quiet road which is 100m to Malia beach in one direction and 100m to the main strip in the other. I don’t expect to go back to Malia but for the hard-partying sun-worshippers Malia caters for you couldn’t do much better for value than Stelios.

A little of a Las Vegas style in the rooms, which is not a surprise when you consider this is Malia. Hotel looks great on the outside - the garden, the pool, the reception... The quality of the rooms is not so good, but not bad either. Bed is comfortable, linen and towels are shining clean, unfortunately not the same can be said about the floor. A little more attitude towards hygiene would be appreciated. The worst thing is the shower cabin: 1/4 circle with 75 cm radius. You can hardly move in there, what to say - have a decent shower. But my overall impression is good. Especially having in mind that the beach is no more than 200 m away, and it's a nice sand beach. The reason for which I will most likely not stay there again, is not the hotel, but Malia itself. But for those who like party resorts, it could be a good value.

Wonderful hotel
My wife and I had to come to Crete as my daughter had been hospitalised at the start of her holiday. We booked in to Stelios Gardens to be near her when she came out of hospital. The staff of the hotel were wonderful and very accommodating and I could not thank them enough. The pool area was very clean and quiet with a laid-back vibe. At the edge the restaurant area although small was also very nice and very relaxed especially in the evening with the pool lit up next to the tables.The food was always very good and the menu extensive and reasonably priced. If we came to Malia again we would without a doubt stay at Stella’s Gardens. Again thank you to all the staff there for making our stay easy and allowing our daughter to stay on until she could fly.

Loved it here. It is a little oasis of calm. The pool was large,clean and was never a problem in getting a sunbed. The rooms were a little small but comfy. Air con worked well.

This is by far the nicest place I have ever stayed at in Greece! Perfect location, 3 min walk to the beach and in the other direction 3 min walk to the town. We stayed in the superior studio which also included a small kitchen with sink and stove top. The rooms were spotless and had newly renovated bathrooms. The owner had great suggestions for a car rental and was always around to help. There is even a night guard so the property is very safe. The pool and gardens are so beautiful. It is obvious that the owner takes pride in his this property. Perfect stay!

A little gem in the heart of Maila
We couldn't be happier with our choice. Everything was simply perfect. Location was in the heart of Malia, close to most restaurants and shops. Our luxury 2-bedroom apartment had an amazing interior, it was also spacious and very clean. Pool area was great as well. We would love to return there some day.

Disappointing and dirty
Room was dirty and bathroom had mould in the sink along with lots of hair in th shower upon arrival. It smelt as though the room was continually mopped with dirty water. Staff were rude and we decided to leave after 1 night rather than stay for the 5 we had booked. We chose the most expensive room thinking it would be better but this wasn’t the case at all.

Fantastic hotel, perfect location.
This was my first stay at Stelios Gardens and I was amazed at how beautiful it was. I am a solo traveller and felt incredibly safe and cared for so I would highly recommend to other solo's. A 3 minute walk to the beach and a 3 minute walk to the busy strip, however it's tucked away and is very quiet. The gardens and pool areas are spectacularly beautiful. The rooms and facilities are spotless with a stunning walk in shower, small kitchen facilities with a fridge, balcony at the front and back,they are cleaned every day by Danya and Eva, who are so friendly as are all the staff, Demetris works in the bar area and she is a gem. Fresh food is served all day and specials by mama are divine! Next to the pool area are beautiful toilets with a great shower so you can freshen up after swimming. Yannis and Maria are fantastic hosts, making sure you are happy at Stelios and I was, it's just like a haven, a peaceful retreat away from the hustle of Malia. I've been to Malia many times but this is by far my best stay! I'm already looking forward to my next holiday. Thank you everyone and Stelios for trying to teach me Greek! A perfect base to explore the quaint old town and surrounding areas.

I Loved the location of Stelios Gardens close to beach and town all short walk.The property is well groomed and nicely decorated and the rooms are CLEAN and comfortable. The pool was Fantastic! With Lotz of comfortable cushions on the loungers plus shaded 'bed` loungers. It's far away enough to get a good night sleep even though `The strip' for all the action is near by

Schöne Anlage und gute Preisleistungsverhältnis. Bei der Sauberkeit sieht es nicht so gut aus. Legen Sie mehr Wert drauf ..dann fühlen sich die Gäste auch besser. Es ist schade für die neue Zimmer .. Luxury Appartement.. es fehlen einige Sachen die Sie in Zimmebeschreibung haben. Es gab keinen Duschgel/Shampoo in Bad. Seife bekommt man nur nachdem man 2 mal gefragt hat .. Bei der Dusche fließt das ganze Wasser ins Zimmer .. nur ein Mülleimer in ganzem Zimmer und der war auch kaputt. Keine Fliegengitter so das man Nachts sehr viele Mücken im Zimmer hat. Sehr nah am Strand und gut gelegen. Restaurant empfehlenswert , gute Preise und nette Mitarbeiter.

Het is een gezellig kleinschalig hotel gerund door familie. Hét heeft een mooie tuin en een prachtig zwembad wat beide keurig onderhouden zijn. Onze kamer was netjes doch de badkamer vergt hier en daar wat onderhoud. Het ligt op loopafstand 5 min van het strand en 20 minuutjes lopen naar het oude gezellige stadscentrum van Malia. Hier vind je leuke gezellige authentieke restaurantjes met de heerlijke Griekse gerechten. Kortom het is voor herhaling vatbaar. Met dank aan Stelios die samen ( denk met z’n vader moeder en oma) ons verblijf tot een aangenaam verblijf hebben gemaakt!

Nous n'avons pas eu la chambre demandée pendant 2 jours .puis celle en remplacement avait la porte de douche cassée ainsi que la bonde du lavabo.personne n'est venu pour réparation malgré ma réclamation.Menage vite bâclé 4 jours sans changement.on sentait la fin de saison.Seuls francais de l'hôtel avec hollandais et allemands fumeurs au restaurant,le manager nous considèrait comme négligeable car non buveur de vin ou bière.bords de la piscine très sale pas nettoyé durant les 2 semaines

Hotel reservé pour une nuit alors peut-être qu'ils ont des chambres pour les personnes de passages. La personne au comptoirs, charmant mais tout été payant. La Clim 7euro mais j'ai dit non et je l'aieu quand même. Pas de télécommande pour la télévision mêmes si ce n'étais pas notre priorité. La literie, pas adaptée à notre confort et pourtant on est pas compliqué. Sinon l'hôtel est super bien situé et la piscine est super sympa et tout est propre.

Die Zimmer sprachen überhaupt nicht mit den Bildern überein und das Frühstück war furchtbar und das W Lan hat nicht funktioniert. Aber für den Preis war es alles echt ok. Der Service war sehr persönlich und individuell. Wir haben beim Frühstück kostenfrei Extra Wünsche bekommen und diePoolanlage ist sehr süß gemacht. Das Hotel liegt nur 100m vom öffentlichen Strand entfernt. Ich würde es warscheinlich sogar wieder buchen da Preis Leistung ok war!

L'hotel era parzialmente ristrutturato, ovviamente le foto, nella maggior parte dei casi , ritraevano la struttura nella parte nuova. La nostra camera era molto vecchia , con rotture varie su arredo, bagno piccolo e molto decadente. Però il personale era gentile e le parti comuni nuove e pulite, buona la colazione. Buon accesso al mare. Basta scegliere una camera ristrutturata.

Прекрасный отель! все понравилось. Уборка каждый день, накрахмаленное постельное белье. море совсем рядом, тихо слышно только треск цикад. Надеюсь вернуться сюда в следующем году но уже расширенным составом. Из минусов очень слабый Wi Fi в номере, у бассейна отличный сигнал.

Hotel propre dommage que les serviettes de toilettes soit si rêche et les draps trop tachés on pourrait penser qu'ils sont sale et sa peut être dérangeant .les Femmes de ménage sont très sympathique et agréable le personnel aussi .la nourriture à l'hôtel est très bonne ,le petit déjeuner pas mauvais mais le jus d'orange est pas bon ,il faut demander jus d'orange pressé il est excellent .

Sehr schöne geräumige Zimmer, zu einem günstigen Preis. Ein schöner Garten, mit einem großen Pool, und nicht weit weg vom Strand. Nachts sehr ruhig, von den Bars und Discos, die nur wenige Hundert Meter entfernt sind, hört man nichts. Kleines Manko sind die schon ins Alter gekommen Amateuren im Badezimmer, aber für den Preis kann man nicht meckern. Das Frühstück ist auch für seine 6 Euro sehr gut, und das Geld wert, auch werten Sonderwünsche z.B. nach einem Omelett erfüllt. Auch das Essen an der Poolbar ist sehr gut, kann man gerne versuchen. Ich habe auch einen Pina Colada versucht, der schmeckte leider wie ein Fertigprodukt aus der Flasche. Zusammenfassen eine sehr schöne Anlage, nette Mitarbeiter, ich komme gerne wieder 😊

Sehr schöne, saubere Unterkunft in angenehmer Lage nahe am Meer. Zwar ist abends etwas lautere Musik von rundherum zu hören, was wahrscheinlich ungünstig ist, wenn man einen sehr leichten Schlaf hat, aber zumindest in der Zeit unseres Aufenthalts war es stets etwa um halb 11 wieder ruhig. Grundsätzlich findet man alles, was man benötigen könnte in Gehweite (Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants, Autovermietungen...), wohnt aber nicht direkt an der Hauptstraße, sondern in einer relativ ruhigen Seitengasse. Wir wurden durchgehend ausgesprochen freundlich behandelt und wann immer wir irgendetwas brauchten, wurde uns sehr gerne und gut geholfen. Sehr positiv fanden wir auch die Tatsache, dass das Frühstück für jeden einzelnen Tag optional und außerdem sehr leistbar, lecker und vielfältig war.

Gastvrije en gezellige sfeer vlakbij het strand.
We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad. Je merkt duidelijk dat het een familie bedrijf is. Iedereen is heel hartelijk en behulpzaam. Als je een drankje of een hapje komt doen wordt er vriendelijk en oprecht gevraagd hoe je dag was. Kamer zelf had een prima formaat met een lekker balkon en nog belangrijker een heerlijke douche! Hotel ligt op nog geen twee minuten lopen van het strand en als je de andere kant op gaat ben je met een kleine 5 minuten op de hoofdstraat. Via het hotel leuke excursies en hele fijne massages geboekt.

Hotel in una zona molto vivace di Malia. Scelto perché di strada per raggiungere meta. Abbiamo dormito una sola notte.Nn sarebbe l’area che sceglierei per un soggiorno al mare visto che il mare non è bello. Va bene per i ragazzi che vogliono divertimento nn certo per bellezza naturale del posto. Ma in quanto all’hotel posso dire che è stato recentemente rinnovato, biancheria da letto e da bagno ottima. Pulizia generale ottima. Bella anche se piccola piscina. Tv con canali italiani e stranieri. Bravi
