We would absolutely come back here again. We had a lovely time despite being a bit cooler and stormier at the end of September.
On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful, we were shown to a seating area and checked in electronically. We were also given some fizz which always helps. Bags were taken to the room, always good after travelling. We had a few extras in the room on arrival such as a bottle of wine and some snacks. All the staff members, bar one or two, were very friendly, smiley and helpful. One or two were chugging on to the end of the season wishing they were elsewhere but it only showed itself in a slight grumpiness, it was only obvious because everyone else was so nice and smiley. The staff were able to sort issues really quickly and without fuss, greatly appreciated.
The hotel is split between two sides of a road. The way it is built is really clever so you need to take a moment to get your bearings. You will not notice the road on the landward side unless you are by the hedge next to the road. We tried to sit there but moved. Everyone else seemed really happy there though so its probably just me being sound sensitive.
There is a really nice bridge/walkway going from the main reception building to the beach side of the hotel, so you do not need to cross the road. There is a main pool here and we spent most of our time lounging around it.
