The host was super nice, very helpful and always available when we need it anything, This is a place that I would go again for sure. It is in a quite area, but with a car it was great. Thank you again for a great hospitality

Great value and beautiful spot!
Beautiful villa with a private walkway right to the beach. Salt water pool is beautiful.amd clean. Nota, the receptionist, was so sweet and helpful. She recommended the restaurant right down the beach and it was very good!! Our bedroom was nice with a good shower and balcony. We paid under $70 per night and thought the value was terrific. Didn't get too excited about the breakfast but who does in Europe? We would love to stay there again and have more family with us.

Best salt water swimming pool
Quiet location . Not overcrowded with people . 2 minutes walk to the beach . Staff were friendly and helpful who decorated the bed beautifully for the bride and groom in our wedding party . Breakfast a bit sparce but sufficient . Shop close by. Car or bike hire available .

Close to airport
Ideal for quick stop over between Santorini and other islands. A bit remote for long stays but okay if you hire a car. Lovely quiet pool and a couple of tavernas close by but not much else.

Terrible service, we had two friends over and asked if we could pay a fee so they can join us in the hotel pool. It was empty there was a couple in it. Paint chipping ugly pool. The lady was clearly a local started yelling at us and saying we all had to leave. She then called us twice yelling if we were checking out so we could go pick up our luggage. We were not going to find a hotel in the middle of the night. She was unsurd and completely out of line. I can’t tell you enough these people are tired of tourists and can be very rude or plain blunt. We had great service in Crete and Athens, and even Oía. This hotel should not be allowed to rent rooms out. The shower was inadequate, the AC turns off and must be off when you are not in the room and it takes forever to cool the room. Terrible old mattress and your toiletries are tiny powered soaps. Lots of bugs and in the middle of no where our cab was still 20 euros. Stay away from this place.

This hotel offers good basic accommodation in a very remote area so if you are wanting to explore the island, a car is a must. The bus stop was not far but the buses were not all the frequent. The beach was very secluded, a lovely volcanic beach with nature at its best, but no chairs provided by the hotel. There were two very good restaurants, reasonably priced and on the beach, one to the left and one to the right but that is all of the choice you will have within walking distance, There is also a convenience store which is extremely handy. The staff were lovely and accommodating, helping with information and transportation. The breakfast was a also a nice addition and the pool was great.

Swimming in the pool left your feet and legs covered in blue paint as the salt water was dissolving it.owner was aware but had no money to fix. Doors on room jammed and I was unable to get out for an hour even after shouting for help and letting off personal alarm. The owner was lovely to me on all other accounts and it was lovely quiet and very clean. Negotiate with your own taxi drivers for fare as much cheaper than resort offers. I was made to feel welcome and owner made it simper for me with my disability and I enjoyed the serenity after the noise of Athens.

It was a huge disappointment. This was the last stop on our honeymoon and we were looking forward to relaxing at the hotel, but we couldn't wait to leave here. On hotels.com it advertises (as of September 2017) that there is in-room wifi, but there is NOT. And the wifi in the lobby area is very spotty. When we went to reception with the issue, we got absolutely no help. When we showed her our printout, she responded, "do you see it saying wifi in-rooms on there?" (it just says wifi on our confirmation, it said in-room wifi on hotels.com when we booked). We had ask to move rooms to one closer to the wifi area and she said no. The room was in okay condition, but the towels felt really used (at least they were clean though). None of the sheets or towels were changed until the last day. There were no complimentary shampoos or soap. On the second day, we had ants in our room with no open food containers, and we have no idea where they came from. Breakfast was gross. It was supposed to be until 10am, but when we went at 9am there was already almost nothing left. We ended up eating breakfast out most mornings. The location was fine since we rented a car. It's right near the airport, but the planes didn't bother us (we live near an airport).

Beautiful property on beach with a pool
the rooms were big and airy but not too much in bathroom though comfy. The hostess and ladies providing breakfast service were very helpful and hospitable and breakfast was good. We are right on beach near Kamari and airport but about 20 min from Capital city of Thira and about 40 min from Oia. But the daily tours pick up from hotel and there is bus service and taxi service available so very convenient and nice location as only 10 min from airport. Very safe area even by night to walk about.

Charming and Clean with lovely staff!!!
We absolutely loved this adorable villa. It is nothing fancy, but such an amazing value and so neatly kept. Nota, the owner and proprietor, was so helpful. We arrived early and she came in especially to check us in... she helped book our sailing trip and our taxi to the airport. If you want opulent luxury, go elsewhere... but if you want an authentic feeling Grecian, blue and white experience, we could not recommend Blue Bay Villas more highly! Will be back and will stay longer next time:)

You get what you pay for.
You get exactly what you pay for. Our room was a good size, although the bed was very squeaky. The bathroom was small with a very small shower, and they didn't change our towels once (we stayed three nights). We had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and sea. The pictures show a pool bar with lots of seating, however the bar was never open and there were no seats. The staff were very friendly and helped us with all of our questions. There isn't much around the area, but that didn't bother us - we hired a car (which the owners helped organise for us), and we also walked along the beach (a very long and stoney walk) to Kamari which had lots of taverns, places to lay on the beach and little shops. There is a lot a mini supermarket a stones throw away from the hotel. Would recommend the hotel if you want something cheap and cheerful.

Santorini is beautiful! This hotel was nice, clean, with helpful friendly. Only down side to this hotel is the location. Even though it's in the beach front. There's no sunloungers on the beach, no bar or restaurant, and there's no local bars/clubs/restaurants nearby so have to get buses/taxi everywhere. The buses to and from this location also stop earlier than anywhere on the island which is annoying. But if your looking for a quiet getaway and don't mind renting a car/quad bike then it's a nice quiet safe clean hotel with a nice pool and nice staff. Also aeroplanes are loud on the evening over your room. Breakfast is just cereal so very basic.

Horrible experience!! Do NOT recommend!
The hotel falsely advertised how many people are allowed in the rooms. Upon our arrival, we were denied our reservation and could not check-in. The staff was unwilling to accommodate and help us get another room, leaving us young travelers with no where to stay. Staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful and refuses to refund us for our awful experience. Do not stay here!!!

Nice friendly hotel. Value for money.
We stayed at Blue Bay Villas for a week and had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the pool area was well maintained. Breakfast was included and there was plenty to eat- fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, ham, cheese etc. You could also help yourself to tea and coffee. The villas are in a quiet spot close to the beach. There is a shop nearby for any essentials and we found two nice restaurants on the beach. We also got a bus to Thira from the end of the road where there were numerous places to dine or have a drink. It is close to the airport so we wouldn't bother booking transfers if staying here again. Either jump on the bus or if you are arriving at night get a taxi from the airport.

All I expected
I stayed in this cozy hotel four nights with my partner. The hotel staff was really nice and made our stay pleasant. The room was excellent with great views to the sea. The location is good and you can move easily hiring a vehicle. Totally recommend

The hotel is listed as if it's in Kamari and it's about 5 minutes away from Kamari. It is very close to the airport and at night you hear the planes. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and nice. However, you are far from the main villages of Fira and Oia, so you spend a lot on taxis unless you want to walk 3 blocks to get the local bus. There was no soap or shampoo in the rooms, luckily I had brought soap from the hotel in Athens. The coffee was cold every morning and the breakfast needs some improvements. The door in room 23 slams all night which is hard to sleep. With a few improvements, this perhaps would make it a more pleasant stay.

Had a great stay at Blue Bay Villas. It was clean, the rooms were nice, and the lady at reception was so thoughtful and kind. She noticed I had a cold and brought me tea and croissants one night. The hotel is only a short bus ride to Fira and Kamari.

Nice Hotel close to the beach
My wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights recently, and it was great. The staff were very friendly, and extremely helpful in giving us information about Santorini island. We rented bikes for one of our days, which needs to be arranged a day prior. The rooms were spotless, and the air conditioning worked great. Each room has a patio/sitting area where we were able to enjoy our complimentary breakfast, which was the usual for Greece that we've experienced: bread, cheese, ham, yogurt, cereal, coffee and orange juice. The hotel also has a great pool area with loungers and a pool bar; great for relaxing in the sun. The only drawback of staying here is the location. There is a supermarket two minutes down the road, and a seaside restaurant about a five minute walk from the hotel. Other than that, there's not really anything else as far as restaurants go. Kamari is a good 45 minute walk, so options are limited if you don't have a vehicle/motorbike/bicycle. Overall, a great place to stay, with great value.

Checked in late for early flight the next morning. Staff were excellent, changed our room to a double from twin. However, the room had a foul sewerage smell, probably from the toliet malfunctioning.

Hotel Blue Bay is not really a hotel and as is actually a group of small, comfortable, air-conditioned apartments. The area (it's located half way between Monolithos and Kamari and very close to the airport) is actually very quiet and peaceful, bearing in mind that we live in the vicinity of Heathrow airport. The only facility provided on site, and all we really looked for apart from air-con, is the large, salt water swimming pool. We spent a fair chunk of our time their, it was always clean and largely quiet despite nearly all the rooms being occupied. We attempted the breakfast on the first morning but Louis' market shop, a quick stroll up the road, provided such a better offering of Nespresso and pastries that we didn't bother again. Actually if it wasn't for Louis' shop, I think we would have left with a completely different opinion of the whole place. When it comes to a nights dinner and merriment the Blue Bay locale offers only two tavernas, both within easy walking distance. Galini is pleasant enough, food is reasonably priced by Santorini standards but service leaves a lot to be desired. Mario's food is relatively expensive for a lot of the expansive menu and will transport you back in time with a slightly disconcerting 70's ambience. We spent most nights in Kamari however which is a short cheap bus ride away, but due to the quirks of the bus network either a 40min walk or a 10euro taxi back. With plenty going on though well worth the effort.

As early travellers in May we were the only guests, but that made no difference to the owner, we got a warm welcome and she drove us in her own car to a local restaurant where we had a great meal and she waited to drive us back. Room was comfortable although TV was basic, but hotel was right on the beach, we have booked it again for our return trip to the UK from Naxos via Santorini.

lovely hotel on the east coast of Santorini
loved the blue bay villas hotel: the room was comfy (the bed was a bit hard but that's common in Greece): the pool was amazing and you're only a 2mns walk to the beach. There's a lovely taverna 10mns walk from the hotel, and a little shop to buy what you may need 5mns walk away. The hotel is on the quieter eastern coast, near the airport: we rented a car and got to see most of Santorini, without the crowds.

Staff not very accommodating, noisy.
We stayed at this hotel for our last night on Santorini as we had an early flight the next morning to Athens. Upon arrival the staff were not very friendly. We had to leave early and wanted to borrow a kettle for a cup of coffee in the morning, nothing in the room for a cuppa, not good at all. They would not lend us one, they could have easily got it from the room in the morning for the breakfast service. We were also kept up most of the night with the people above us doing their washing, showering and stomping around. I think it could have been the manager's residence actually. The walls were very thin and we could hear everything. Really bad experience, would not stay there again.

Comfortable, airy room with good storage space. Lovely pool area and good pool bar. The owner was very helpful and gave good advice and organised our excursions. Breakfast minimal, we supplemented it by buying some of our own.
