i Cannot say enough good things about Domus Renier. The staff was always friendly and extremely helpful for all needs- including meeting us in the outside parking area and taking our bags to the hotel. The owner, Lista, was exceptionally kind and thoughtful and spent time with us explaining the hotel’s history as well as being truly interested in our experiences of Crete and the Hotel. We think Crete is a terrific and the Domus Renier is one of the best places we’ve stayed in 8 years of traveling around Europe. The rooms are immaculate , the breakfasts sumptuous, and the atmosphere like family. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful during my stay. As a woman traveling alone, I had concerns, but they took amazing care of me. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the xhania area.

Hotel and staff were amazing. Especially Kyriaki, she was amazing in helping us find the hotel and checkin. Room was incredible and breakfast was also great. VIP ‘bottle” of sparkling wine might have been a small stretch (it was a small 375ml). Having said that, the Prosecco was a great taste and excellent brand!!

This is a unique boutique hotel experience with high quality service. The spacious room (we stayed at the Lorenzo) makes you feel at home in a historical place and offers a beautiful view of the harbor. The breakfast is substantial and made with fresh ingredients. Desk receptionists were beyond helpful. Thank you for an unforgettable stay.

Staff was great, personal communication , they call me a day before to arrange my check in and arrival, room was wonderful bed was amazing and extremely clean and great location. only one thing, parking is 300 meters away, i didn't asked and they didn't offer to arrange to pick up my baggage from my car (so I don't know if it is an option)highly recommended.

This hotel was amazing! We had great views from our room, the bed/pillows were super comfortable, the room was very clean, and the service was amazing as well. The staff gave great food recommendations and helped with anything we needed throughout our stay.

Absolutely loved this hotel the staff was amazing the breakfast was fantastic. The restaurant attached to the hotel had some of the best pasta I have ever had. If you go to the restaurant ask for Kostas he is the Manger and will take care of you. My only complaint about our stay would be the parking, the parking is free and offsite by the sea its a 5 min walk it was very difficult to find a space because of how busy the area is, some nights we searched for over an hour.

The staff/accommodation were amazing. Loved breakfast, must be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Beautiful and high quality toiletries. We got a taxi to go to the airport I just wish we got warned that it’s cash only.

The best thing about this hotel is the incredible staff members who are genuinely so caring and loving- the home cooked breakfast every day is incredible the rooms are so clean and spacious with a nice view on the water, and perfect location within the port, definitely recommended

Can’t miss this beautiful hotel in Chania
Truly incredible hotel in the heart of Chania. We stayed in the honeymoon suite which has a gorgeous view and is beautifully appointed. Staff were incredibly friendly, especially Nikos, breakfast staff, and the bellhop whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. Only slight area of improvement is the comfort of the bed, but we slept fine and content in this lovely and historic hotel!

Pros - very central, interestingly designed and decorated. Possible cons - cars can't pull up in front, so there's a walk of a few hundred meters. Staff are somewhat self-conscious in their eagerness to please.

Beautiful, historic boutique hotel, right on the old harbor of Chania. Hotel and room designs are excellent combination of classical and modern Scandinavian, beautifully crafted. Rooms are on smaller side due to historic character of building. Staff are superb - great recommendations and help on sites, meals, activities, etc. Breakfasts also superb - delicious, fresh, made-to-order, extensive.
