We really enjoyed our stay. The apartments are not spacious but are bright and adequate right by the beach which is relatively quiet and unspoiled. Maria and Costas made us very welcome. Maria cooks delicious Greek food for her family which is available for the guests and Costas gives helpful tips and advice about places to visit and other places to eat. There is a warm family atmosphere which is very inclusive, a rare thing in this day and age. The only noise is the sound of the sea. It is a very relaxing place to be. The beach is home to sea turtle nests which are protected and cared for by a group of volunteers. There is a profusion of lovely sand Lillies in late August and September.

Beautiful ! nestled in pretty garden with olive trees and beach 300m away
We loved Baladinos and will come back.
It's run by a very kind and interesting family - always nice to talk to. Also great food and drink at the bar. The place has a great atmosphere which the pictures don't capture and great access to beach for daily swimming and sunset rose. There are turtle eggs protected on the beach maybe by the time you come they will be hatched!
Great supermarket just 2mins away and Gerani has plenty of Tavernas but is green and spread out so you feel more relaxed than in the built up areas like Platanias.
If you take a bus 25 mins to Kolimbari a tiny harbour town with lots of fish restaurants the first established restaurant there is called DIKTINA and they do an amazing baked tiger prawn Saganaki !
Small corner of Paradise on the Earth :) Calm and relaxing atmosphere. Next to the beach. Away from everything and everybody . At the same time next to everything - near the local shops, taverns, bus stop, not far from the village - with all the tourist crowds etc.
3rd time here - definitely going back !
Zeer vriendelijke mensen en we kregen het appartement met het grote balkon recht op de zee uitkijkend.
Geweldige douche in mooi appartement. Zeer rustige omgeving.
