« This was glamping at its best! Yes, of course the (very well-appointed) bathroom is outside of the property …otherwise it would be listed as a cabin.:-P And yes, it’s unfortunate the ferry is currently closed, but that’s hardly the property owners’ fault—we enjoyed a pleasant, scenic drive to the Mammoth Cave Visitor’s Center each morning. "I enjoyed my stay in the National park. The historical cabins are conveniently located. Closed to the restaurants and trails. Cave tours are amazing. However the cabins are getting old and there was a persistent muggy smell inside. The AC was too loud. Even with my earplugs, I had hard time to fall asleep. "
