"Definitely a road side motel vibe"

"Front desk staff was delightful. Our room was clean. Outdoor pool clean. Breakfast was very good. We had a suite...however absolutely no kitchen supplies were in the room. We had to give a deposit for paper plates. No dish towels, sponge, nothing. Very disappointing.. This hotel is very old and worn. For the great location it was worth it."

"Unfortunately my stay this time was during their remodeling. The newly refurbished rooms are a wonderful upgrade to the property, and once they are finished, I would add a star to my overall rating. That said, completely apart from the ongoing construction, it was the noise from upstairs that prevented me from getting a good night's rest. If I were to stay here again, I would request an upstairs room. "

"The staff when checking in was very friendly and helpful. The room size was exactly what we needed. Two beds and pull out sofa with room to still move around was what we needed and worked great. We stayed to make our driving closer to Legoland. It was a great location. I would stay here again."

"This was admittedly a low-cost option as I literally just needed a bed to sleep in due to an unintended overnight stay in Encinitas. That said, this place was "meh." "

"To claim the beds are queens is a stretch. No extra pillows or blankets were available in the room or at the office. Our sink didn’t drain and we had to have someone come fix it. There was a blood stain on the mattress that you could see through the sheets and the furniture wasn’t in good condition. A convenient enough location and a low price, but I’ve stayed in much nicer Motel 6s."

"We booked this property based on the listing description of “direct access to the sand and sea,” along with photos that appeared to show a staircase leading down to the beach. Upon arrival, we were unable to find a staircase or direct access point from the property and instead needed to use a public access route down the street.The home is also part of a duplex, which was not immediately clear to us when booking. With a larger group, we did notice sound carrying between units and received a noise complaint despite using the home as intended.During our stay, we experienced a full-house power outage that lasted approximately 2.5 hours, which required us to reschedule planned activities. There were also a few maintenance concerns, including doors in the back that did not lock properly, a shower door that was off track, and uneven patio areas where some members of our group tripped.The hot tub did not reach a hot temperature during our stay. In addition, the floors appeared to need more thorough cleaning, as socks became visibly dirty shortly after walking inside.The location itself is great, but overall the property experience did not fully match what we expected based on the listing."
