Grand View-on-Hudson Vacation Packages

Very clean. Good breakfast and wonderfully located to several good places to eat. Easy on and off the highway.

The staff were very helpful with a few issues we had. The room was tidy but could use a few upgrades. There was some water damage on the ceiling of the shower, and damage to the hallway floor. The TV was like trying to watch in a snowstorm. Also a hallway electrical socket with a blackened faceplate was not very comforting. I'm sure the issue has been resolved but the faceplate should be replaced. With the property not having a pool or workout center. Maybe thoughts of a place for its clientele to relax outdoors may be a nice little touch during any downtime. A couple of chairs and umbrellas. The location of the hotel was nice. Easy access to the highway and local non-chain restaurants was really nice. The beds were very comfortable and the second sink area was very handy. Overall a hotel is a hotel. Its a place to lie down and rest. But as wonderful and helpful as the staff were, the facilities are tired and need to be cleaned and upgraded to what I call BEST WESTERN standards.

Check-in was confusing and poorly organized, which made the start of the stay frustrating. The room itself was fine and comfortable, but the photos on the website were misleading and didn’t match what we saw in person. Overall, an okay room but not the experience we expected.
