This is a clean safe basic room in mauritus. I liked that it was cheaper so I could spend more on other things. The kitchen was a nice added bonus. There is a fantastic grocery store nearby and it’s in a great location for grand baie with access to bus and beach

High Speed Internet: Ideal For Business Trips

As I arrived at Monalysa St Honoré, I was greeted by owner and offered a guided tour of the property. I was pleased to learn that my room had been upgraded for free and even more happy, when I was offered a late check-out, free of charge. The property is crystal clean and more important, so calm. The premises are secured. Best of all, the high internet speed. I recommend without hesitation.

Good budget alternative in Grand Baie

Functional hotel with well-organized staff and dedicated (and honest) housekeeping. We accidentally left a bottle of champagne in the room which we promptly got back the day after checking out. The booking gave the impression that we would have one apartment with two bedrooms, which meant we assumed one kitchen and a living room for dining. Instead we got two identical one-room apartments with minimally equipped kitchens (one gas burner and one microwave per room). Not very practical. Overall, however, the living arrangement matched our budget, the hotel is nicely placed in a classic creole neighborhood near both beach, supermarket and restaurants. The pool area is small but cozy and well maintained. Now that we know what to expect, we would certainly consider a revisit for a budget stay in Grand Baie.

The apartment is clean and spacious. It has a small pool and wifi. Tv with about 20 channels. Hot shower. Aircon and fan. 2 x queen bed. Near to Super U (supermarket). Walking distance to Grand Bay Beach and Bazaar (shopping). 5 mins to halal food (mcd, kfc, pizza hut, briyani, kebab). 3 mins walk to Monalysa Tour Office. V helpful tour operator staff named Isha. Efficient driver named Veer. Awesome owner (Eric). Overall, great team work from their company

Value for money

Three days in Grand Bae staying at the Monalysa appartments. Great little apartment with a small outdoor pool. One downside was the location in a residential area. Sometimes the street lights were on when we came home at night and sometimes they weren't. The other negative was the towels. They were very well used and very thin and scratchy.. Would recommend if you usually stay at 3.5 star properties. If you stay at 4-5 star properties you might not like it. The room was serviced most days, but no other services provided.

Det lå fint ift. superU, og poolen var fin, dog var det lidt besværligt at skulle låse og åbne 3 døre hver gang man skulle ud og ind. En smæklås havde været en fordel.

Bello, pratico, pulito.

Zona pulita, a 5 min a piedi dal centro grand bay, sunset boulevard, spiaggia, centro commerciale. Non sei circondato da ciò che è realmente l'isola, ma sei in una via bella, pulita, sicura. Stabile nuovo, pulitissimo, camera spaziosa pulita ogni gg. Non ha reception, quindi si è indipendenti nella palazzina. Cucina fornita di tutto. Scomode le 3 chiavi usate x accedere, ogni porta da aprire e richiudere con giro chiave. Non ha posteggio, ma ok lungo strada. Wifi molto lento e non stabile. Non hanno carta credito, ma solo cash, e si paga sempre in loco, non ti prelevano in realtà con prenotazione. Il proprietariogestisce anche un punto turistico che organizza economiche gite e tour, affitto auto.

Excellent Value for Money

Great location - about 5 mins. walk from huge supermarket Super and 5 mins. from the Grand Baie Public Beach. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Close to Monalysa tour operator who looked after the apartments and tours - staff very helpful and went out of their way to help with requests. The room was a decent size, furnishings basic but comfortable, mostly occupied by a huge bed (2 king singles pushed together I think) so the dining table & 2 chairs comprised a small set on the balcony. Rooms were cleaned and beds made every day except Sunday with linen & towels changed every 3rd day. Consider bringing your own hair dryer, toiletries and beach towels if required. No laundry facilities but iron & board available and drying rack provided on the balcony. Flat screen TV can be viewed from the single chair or from the bed (only a couple of channels in English anyway).

Great studio for good price.

The apartment is in a back street about 5 min walk ftom the beach front and the supermarket and restaurants. The well equipped kitchen allows us up cook our own breakfast and dinner. The bed was huge with clean linen. It had good wifi fan aircon. and TV (only news in English ) large fridge kettle and safe. The pool looked lovely and clean but the weather was too cold and windy for me to try it. The building is fairly new, and there is good security ie. you have to unlock and lock 3 doors by the time you are inside your room. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again, especially for the price.

Super séjour au Monalysa!

Acceuil excellent depuis l'aéroport...Les différents personnes que nous avons rencontré ont toutes été extrêmement accueillantes... L'appartement est très bien équipé multi fonctions .. lit king size ..propreté impeccable.. personnel à l'écoute .. résidence sécurisé dans petite rue .. Excellent pour les petites bourses !!! A recommander
