Two bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Condo. Great River Views & Pool!

  • This beautiful condo located at the Villas in Grafton, Illinois is the perfect place for family or a couple’s getaway weekend! This condo is located in the heart of Grafton, Illinois just below the Aeries Winery. It features 2 bedrooms each having its own bathroom and balcony. We do have a fold out bed in the living room closet which can be used for children. The main level is the common area with a large living room, kitchen, 1/2 bath and dining room. There are also two balconies on this level. The large balcony overlooks the confluence of the Illinois and Mississippi rivers offering spectacular views year round. The condo is tastefully furnished. During the summer months guests may enjoy the large pool also overlooking the rivers (closes September 1st) Grafton, Illinois is a small river town and is fast becoming the desired location for weekend getaways with many establishments throughout the town. Unique shops, wineries, bars, and restaurants where you will be able to enjoy live music are just a few of the many choices you have to choose from in Grafton. For those who desire a little adventure, Grafton is host to the Aeries Zip Line and the new Aeries SkyTour Gondola. Raging Rivers Waterpark is just one mile south of Grafton on the Great River Road. Pere Marquette State Park is another option for those looking for an adventure with many hiking trails and a horseback riding facility. The Sam Vadalabene Great River Road Bike Trail is a paved 20 mile trail from Grafton to Alton. If you are a boater, bring your boat and launch it at the free town boat ramp. You can take a ferry ride from Grafton to St. Charles, MO or to Calhoun County, IL. Fall is a popular time in Grafton where guests take in the beautiful fall colors while enjoying a glass of wine at one of the many wineries or from the private balcony. During the winter months, you may enjoy watching the Eagles from the balcony or visit the Loading Dock ice skating rink. There are many things to do in this small river town. The location and property were perfect for our girls weekend. The place was clean and exactly as pictured. We enjoyed some time in the property’s pool. The local residents were very friendly. Me and my wife made spontaneous plans to go to Grafton for a night. We live an hour away so we wanted a place to stay. It was the perfect spot. I wish we had more time to wnjoy the pool. It looked very nice and you cab tell the property was managed well.

Very well decorated and plenty of room. The only negatives were the couch was a little worn and two of the tv remotes didn’t work properly. NOT a big deal! We would definitely rent here again.

We visit Grafton, IL approximately 3-4x a year and stay at the Aeries Resort. Deciding to do something differed, we perused through VRBO and found this property. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! The property was close enough to everything but we did not feel the congestion of the resort. This property was spotless and beautiful. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious! Added bonus, a private pool that’s rarely used! Thank you to the host and keep up the fantastic work!

Great views of the river. Nice to have 3 bathrooms. Can hear all outside noises, would be worse in-season due to more people. Vertical blinds didn’t work hardly at all. Needs better mattresses & pillows. Paint touch up especially on trim. Towels needs a vinegar soak, I think people left them wet and now have moldy smell. One bedroom fan had thick dust on the blades. Dead cockroaches under loveseat cushions, contacted owner who apologized but didn’t offer to come clean. Generally I guess we got what we paid for, cheap for Grafton.
