"Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kinder hatten viel Platz zum Spielen, die Lage ist wunderbar im alten Dorfkern; einzig die Treppe ins Obergeschoss, wo ein Schlafzimmer und ein großes Bad waren, ist nicht kindersicher, und auch wir Erwachsenen mussten vorsichtig sein beim Abstieg.Es ist dennoch ein Schmuckstück, sehr kuscheliges und verwunschenes Ambiente, mit tollen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten."

Whilst the facilities are very good, the attitude of the staff, beginning with check-in are so poor (I would go so far as to say completely bereft of anything resembling customer service) that my work team and friends who regularly visit Goslar will never be staying here again (The Hotel Schiefer will now be receiving our business). "
