Location and view is great (level 7, 2 bed apart). The apartment itself is bit old, especialy you feel it in kitchen and bathroom. Overall experience wasn't too bad.

Great location friendly and helpful staff, good area for budget accommodation. The only thing i would recommend is changing the pillows and installing air con. There was a lot of construction near by needing to leave the windows open to ventilate the apartment caused excessive noise. I'll definitely be staying here again it's just fair enough away from the strip to be very relaxing and a nice short walk to the beach.

Good convenient but bathroom was dirty
It’s not a hotel so don’t expect a hotel service and cleanliness of a hotel can offer. The bathroom was not clean as the shower wall and tiles looked very yellow and they probably have not been scrubbed or cleaned in the last few months it looked gross. The shower screen look dirty so overall I felt a bit disgusted when using the shower. The kitchen was okay with pretty much everything you need for cooking which was good. The TV and hair dryer were not working. So overall good in terms of location but the bathroom was not clean. However if you’re looking for somewhere you can stay longer and you’re happy to cook then this is your place.

Thank you for your comments Anonymous.The negative issues that you have mentioned would have been dealt with if we had of been notified. The TV issue is usually due to human error and the hairdryer can be replaced immediately. Regarding the bathroom, housekeeping would have been directed to deal with those issues once we were made aware of the problem. We are pleased that you did enjoy the beach views and the location. Great view up and down the coast !
I had a beachfront room. While this 3 star complex has accommodated many guests over the years and does show some signs of its age (such as deteriorated sliding windows and doors, damaged walls, paint and fittings/fixtures), I had a pleasant couple of nights without issue. The parking within the complex was the only thing that concerned me. It became quite difficult to negotiate later in the evening in a wagon once most parks were already filled. You do need to be very careful opening car doors to avoid damage.

Motel it cheapest spot on Goldy with beach views
I came up to visit my children and grand children who were staying at the Mantra. I wanted to sleep separate and have a bit of space. Loved the board walk and situation of where I stayed.

Lovely view and fantastic location
You can't beat the location, it was perfect. We enjoyed eating on the balcony, looking at the sea. Inside, it's a bit tired and dated but wasn't really an issue as we were out most of the time.

Surprising Stay
If I am completely honest I did not have high expectations as to the quality of this hotel - I was very pleased to be proven wrong! Our unit was older in style and a little worn but was very clean and super comfortable. I would definitely recommend this as a good value option close to but far enough away from the main surfers paradise drag to get a great nights sleep. Pools looked fine (too cold on this stay to use it) and free parking was an added bonus

Great place great view
If your looking for 5 star this isn't for you but the price you pay isn't 5 star and is well priced for what you get . The place is clean, comfortable and has great views of the coast. The apartments are close to every thing you need and the owners really care about their guests . Cheers Ric

Good Location but disappointing in room
We always stay in the lower cost places and normally feel like we have got a good deal. Not this time the place was old, couches stained, it was dirty. The office staff were nice and pool area great.

Lesley was an absolute delight, did have to sweep the room as floors were a little dirty but nothing overly bad wrong with the room. No aircon but with the fan and windows open to let in sea breeze we slept soundly.

Good location but very bad facilities. The sofa stinks and the beds are very itching. I was bit by bed bugs but the thing I hate most is that the hotel i run by those who do not have any passion and are lazy. Many notice papers are everywhere inside apartment, kinda advising you to keep apartment clean otherwise fines are applied. I wonder why they are running the hotel if they are so lazy. This is hospitality industry so make people feel comfortable during their stay.

Location is excellent but the beds were not comfortable. No air conditioning was expected but should install a fan in the living area. Also furniture were damage. Staff overall ok as she mentioned us READ THE LETTER for check in or check out. Maybe she was busy to do many things and didn't have time to explain my simple inquiry.

The apartment was close to the shops and restaurants, we didn't even use the car we rented only used it to go to the theme parks. The beach was across the road.

This apartment isn't the Taj Mahal, but is close to everything, had everything we needed and the staff were very helpful. Great choice!

Suntower lives up to its name
Fabulous ocean and beach views and excellent value for money at this fully equipped apartment. Managers very welcoming and efficient. Supermarket close by along with a great variety of restaurants. Near the tram station so very easy to access the rest of the Gold Coast. Directly across from the beach so easy to go for a stroll there to relax.

Friendly receptionist, secure parking, very spacious unit (recently renovated) with magic views. Handy to beach, shops, dining, trams. Great for a stay this time of a yer as it would be probably hot in summer with just fens and no air-conditioning. Great value for just 3 star

I recently stayed at the Sun Tower with my partner for the weekend, and found it a delight to stay in. It is so close to and within a short walking distance of the beach, fast food restaurants, night clubs and shopping centers. The sheets were clean, the kitchen was clean, the lounge room was clean, the garage where my car was parked for 3 days had secure parking, and the beach front view was amazing. My only two complaints about the apartment we stayed in was the shower had quite a bit of mold build-up around the inside, and secondly we found bits of black hair on our window sill in our room and on one of the pillows on our bed, which I have never encounted before in a hotel. Apart from those two things, my stay at the Sun Tower was fantastic, and my partner and I will definitely go back again.

Suntower is in a very good location close to everything you need at surfers. The staff were friendly and my stay was enjoyable the only complaint i would make is that the room i stayed in was slightly run down.

Wonderful location, very helpful staff
Unbeatable location metres from the beach! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and agreed to let us have a late check out for the whole day on which we were flying. Very pleased with our stay.

You get what you pay for
We booked the hotel on the day due to a last minute decision to stay the night on the Gold Coast for 4 adults and 1 child in a 2 bedroom apartment. When we went to check in at reception the reception lady was extremely rude. It seemed like we had inconvenienced her by making a late booking and snapped at us that we might want an extra bed since there was 5 of us. Rather than arguing with her we opted to forego the extra bed. We were advised that our room had not been checked over but it should be alright - it felt unclean. Later that day I realised that the reception lady had not given back my drivers license and credit card she had requested at the time of check in to copy, which just added to the frustration of our stay. I do commend the reception lady from the following day who kindly rang our room to advise she had it and apologised. We did not feel welcomed and after a tiring day we were not in the mood to deal with someone like that. We needed a place to sleep for the night and that's what we got. We spent very little time in the room as it was unclean, uninviting and in need of refurbishment. Overall if you are looking for a cheap place to just sleep then that's what you are going to get. Do not expect great things and I would definitely recommend somewhere else if you are planning to stay longer.

Stayed here for a week with 3 kids was great. Room had everything we needed to cook meals and washer n dryer. Close to everything. The managers are very friendly and helpful! Right across the beach and 5min walk to main shops in Surfers Paradise. Would definitely stay here again! Highly recommended 😊

After a long day enjoying Sea World we arrived at Suntower just before 6pm. Unfortunately the office at the complex closed at 5pm and when we tried the phone numbers that were provided we were unable to contact anyone for assistance. As a result we waited for a VERY frustrating 45 minutes until the managers arrived. After apologising for our inconvenience, the managers were extremely helpful and friendly. While the room was old and in need of a renovation, the facilities were fine. The room was clean and the beds comfortable, there is Foxtel available free of charge and the apartment was located only a short walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants and shops. I would recommend Suntower for a family who are perhaps holidaying on a budget. There is both the beach directly across the road and a pool for residents.
