Nice hotel and a good breakfast but too far out of town to be useful for tourists. Most of the other guests seemed to be industry contractors.

This was a great little place to stop on the drive from Italy to Denmark, right off the highway. A good breakfast with a lot of options and very friendly service.

Very fine place to stay
Excellent overall service at the reception desk, great amenities at the hotel such as a pool and a sauna and fantastic breakfast. The hotel is a 12 minute bus journey to the central station where you can change your bus to get into Goettingen city.

Not what I expected from the pictures.
The best thing about Hotel Rennschuh in Geottingen was the staff. Everyone was very helpful.The Manager made an adjustment to our bill because... We had booked a triple room... for 3 adults with 3 beds. I had called and checked to confirm that it was 3 BEDS... What we got was 2 beds and one "convertible chair-bed". When I asked about this when we checked-in I was told that is what they meant be "3 beds". I took the convertible chair-bed as both my husband and adult son have bad backs. So in the morning after sleeping poorly... when the manager asked how the room was I did say I slept poorly, and more importantly why. Without asking for an adjustment of my bill the manager immediately offered to make an adjustment. I am very pleased that she did. The breakfast in the morning was pleasant, but not special... meats,cheeses and breads, etc. The Rennschuh has a pool which looks wonderful... however we arrived too late and left too early to use it.

Top Frühstücksbuffett! Restaurant mit gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Drei-Bett-Zimmer abgewohnt. Vermutlich gibt es aber Zimmer unterschiedlicher Kategorie im Hotel. Sauberes Schwimmbad mit Saunabereich (Sauna gegen Gebühr). Sehr gut an der Autobahn gelegen. Alles in allem:Ein Zwischenstopp-Tipp für Familien!
