Incredible views of the Annisquam River. Wildlife, Boats, Paddle boards, Kayaks (bring yours) and Sunbathers. All seen from your private second floor deck as well as your Huge picture window! We can accommodate up to a 17’ boat on our Tidal Dock for an additional fee. Newly renovated apartment! Very comfortable Queen size bed, as well as a brand new pull out memory foam Full sleep sofa! There is a large Butcher Block counter with stools as well as kitchen table. New 40” flat screen smart TV. Owner occupied. Owners Deb Callahan and Paula Parsons are happy to suggest places to go, places to avoid, and respect your privacy! Laundry on the same floor. We were on VRBO for 7 years with over 52-5 Star reviews! We stopped for 2 years because of COVID and we have decided to do this again. Sadly we lost all of our reviews by taking that break! We are happy to answer any questions you may have and hope you choose our home for making a memorable vacation experience! They were informative, gave us privacy, and let us know they were there if we needed them. The accommodations were very clean and had everything we needed (TP, paper towel, kleenex, dish soap and sponge, hand soap, hair dryer, napkins, etc.). The bed is comfortable (I slept like a rock). The TV has Netflix, which was an unexpected perk. The private deck is a perfect place to sit with a drink and watch the boats go by. Overall, we highly recommend this rental. What a beautiful place this apartment on the Annisquam was to spend a relaxing New England vacation! Location can’t be beat: the water view, about half hour straight shot to Salem, 10 minutes to downtown Gloucester with excellent restaurants and interesting shops. The view is beautiful, and we enjoyed having cocktails on the spacious deck overlooking the Annisquam River. Sail boats, lobster boats, kayaks, pontoon boats and more made watching the activity on the river so much fun. The studio apartment is a jewel; super comfy bed, a well-appointed kitchen with everything we could want and a cozy living room with large windows and that same beautiful view with binoculars for bird and boat watching. Wonderful hosts made us feel very welcome in their home. We had an absolutely delightful stay and are looking forward to coming back next year. ##### jane g. We loved coming home at night and having a glass of wine on the deck overlooking the cove then cooking dinner on the grill and in the very well stocked kitchen. The bathroom was a great size with a shower that had plenty of hot water and pressure. The smart tv in the living room let us keep up with our shows on Prime. Gloucester is a wonderful town with a great Boulevard to walk right next to the water. We had a delicious dinner at Lobsta Land at the bar outside, the food and view was spectacular. Expect a lot of detailed instructions on paper and via phone on how to stay here, the owners are very specific. Also expect to hear a lot of personal information from them, they are personable and approachable but definitely overshared. Moored boats, passing boats, brilliant blue water, a different look with every angle of sun. Glorious. Get some food somewhere, but ONLY eat it at the house. Do not miss one second of the view. Cleanliness: Infinity: Embarrassingly cleaner than our house-and our house is VERY clean. Comfort: Infinity. When when WHEN have you gone away and loved the bed? NEVER! Until THIS bed which, by the by, looks out onto said view by merely lifting one’s head from the to-die-for pillows.
