Excellent location in formidable Merchant's City - close to trains and transport, shopping an restos. Pub had small but adequate variety of draughts but the kitchen put out a repast that was surprisingly fresh and tasty. Staff were very courteous. The continental breakfast was excellent, as was the service. The parking was not free, but 70% of normal overnight cost, so good - though NCP car park itself was very badly signed.
