The Space:
This beautifully designed 1-bedroom apartment offers a stylish and relaxing space in the heart of Glasgow’s historic Merchant City. Overlooking the iconic Hutcheson Hall, the flat blends period charm with modern comforts. High ceilings, tall sash windows, and tasteful decor create an elegant yet homely feel throughout. Whether you’re visiting for business or pleasure, the space is thoughtfully prepared to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Although due to the city centre location, there are sounds from outside that we cannot control.

The bedroom features a cosy double bed with crisp linen, soft lighting, and ample storage. In the spacious open-plan lounge, guests can unwind on the plush sofa, which also converts into a pull-out bed, making the property ideal for up to three guests. A dining area sits beside the kitchen, offering a convenient spot to enjoy home-cooked meals or a relaxed breakfast.

Great location

What a perfect place! I wasn't sure what area was the best to stay in and we nailed it! Close to shopping and dining. Fun and active area near the train, near the subway. Her place was very nicely decorated, the bed was comfy AND there is a separate dryer!!!! Priceless....such a fun stay.

Upstairs Flat

This upstairs flat is located a few blocks off St. George Square above a few pubs, which were quite noisy at night. The heater wasn't working, the toilet ran the entire time and some pizza boxes were left in the fridge. However, the flat was close to the train and bus stations, reasonably priced, and the owners were very responsive.

Great Location in the Merchant City

The listing is quite accurate and the apartment was very comfortable. There are restaurants and bars all around and access to anywhere you want to go in Central Glasgow. I have given check in/out 3 of 5 stars as you need to retrieve and return the keys to a location about 1/2 mile east of the apartment. The process was simple enough but theoretically the taxi cannot stand and wait for you as you go into the location. I would stay there again then next time we are in Glasgow.

Great location

Location was great (merchant city), close to train stations which was very convenient for us. Some nice bars, restaurants and cafes nearby. The house was clean on arrival but even though having booked for 4, and confirming this just a couple days before, the house had only been prepared for 2 (beds and towels). I called them straight away and they were supportive and arranged for more towels to be delivered early morning. When booking I sent the host a message through vrbo, which never got a reply, but they're quick replying to emails and always available by phone. Prior to arriving I received a request for a deposit, which I was reluctant to do, but everything turned out to be ok and the hold wasn't charged.

The location of the apartment is excellent. It's a pain having to walk elsewhere to collect the keys though. We were 2 ladies visiting Glasgow, so obviously needed to use the sofa bed. Opened it out - mattress and protector was very dirty - no sheets or quilt cover. quilt was stained.Contacted the quoted number and a cleaner turned up - just brought a quilt cover and pillow cases. He just laughed, thought it was funny. So I rang again and another man turned up, extremely apologetic. He brought a new quilt and mattress protector. Certainly didn't expect very tatty furniture, broken window glass, the window is nailed shut - no health and safety care! The TV screen is scratched. There were lots of minor issues and I photographed them all and emailed them to the management company. They issued a 50 refund - about 10% of the rental cost. PAT testing should have been done September last year according to the stickers.The location was good but the apartment left alot to be desired. Then on checkout had to walk back to a corner shop to return the keys. No receipt given so took a photo to prove they had been handed back.I would not stay here again, despite the location
