From the beautiful home to the unbelievable views to the dock on the bay to the kayaks to the basement game room to the solo stove firepit and hot tub and sauna to the amazing Reid State Park beach up the road to the authentic and delicious Five Islands Lobster Pound 5-minutes away.... we couldn't have asked for anything more for our family vacation to Maine.... we even cooked mussels that we harvested off the dock with a recipe shared by our host, Jill! Jill was super responsive to our questions and text messages and her attention to details and hospitality practically made us feel like family. Everything was well appointed, beds were so comfortable, bedding and towels were quality, and plenty of comfortable seating-inside and out. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with necessities and more. The views from the porch and from the dock were just beautiful. The hot tub and outdoor fire pit were big hits! We loved having Reid State Park just down the road too, and used the provided park pass daily.Also loved the birds and chipmunks visiting in the yard! So much fun to watch. Communication with Jill, the host, was easy and she responded immediately. The Maine treats left for us were a delicious touch!
