It was a long drive up and down the mountain but we knew that and planned activities accordingly. We could not find a broom or mop for the floors, and there was no dish rag for wiping down counters and the table when we finished cooking and eating. Paper towels don't do a sufficient job. I felt the only downfall was communication with the host. Response time to emails was lacking (usually 24 hours ... too long) and not all questions were answered. The host went above before and throughout our stay to ensure our complete satisfaction. Traveling with young children, and a snow storm brings it challenges and Karen went above and beyond to ensure the entire stay went without flaw. Everything was nice and clean and we were able to relax. It was very challenging to get to and from (up a steep mountain and very snowy) even with a four wheeled drive car. Also, the video showed a hot tub, but there was no hot tub. We were very excited for this feature and were a bit caught off guard when there was not one. It was also a nice distance from St. Mary’s glacier which was convenient. I would absolutely recommend staying here! ##### Caterina I. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on deck at all times throughout the day/night. Fishing was great! The property does have two rods for use. St. Mary’s Glacier hike’s trailhead was a small walk from the cabin. Great hike...definitely worth it. Make sure to take a picnic lunch and enjoy the time out there!
