This was our family’s first trip out to Colorado and this property was perfect. Our group was 3 adults and 2 teenagers. The property had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and the house is clean .The views from the house are breathtaking, we even got to see a mama moose and her calf at the lake! We took daily walks up to the glacier and did the white water rafting in town, which was a lot of fun. We would definitely stay here again! If I were going to have anything negative, more light would be good and plenty of matches/lighters to light the fire place. The hike to St. Mary's Glacier was a workout but the payoff was amazing! The deck was enormous and the view of the lake was peaceful and gorgeous. It was a long drive up and down the mountain but we knew that and planned activities accordingly. We could not find a broom or mop for the floors, and there was no dish rag for wiping down counters and the table when we finished cooking and eating. Paper towels don't do a sufficient job. I felt the only downfall was communication with the host. Response time to emails was lacking (usually 24 hours ... too long) and not all questions were answered.
