"I travel for business and usually stay at ‘the chain’ hotels. Highland was very close to where I was working and is a great place off the beaten path. There is a lot of history about the house and the area, read about it in the reading room. I’ll be back when my schedule is here again. Thank you Highland team! "

"My stay at this cottage was fantastic from the time I booked until my departure. My Host was fabulous; communication was outstanding and really went out of her way to offer directions/suggestions. And considering my booking was in January, during lake effort snow, she even scooped off the sideway to make it easier to me to move. Very much appreciated.The cottage was extremely clean, comfortable, and easily accessible. The host included special surprises, like a great coffee bar, a smore station and if you forgot your toothbrush--not problem that was in the bathroom too. Keyless access was great! A washer/dryer unit was extremely useful. The fenced in back yard would be great for kids to run around in, while grilling.This will be my go-to for future visits."
