A minute walk to Monaco's cafe, five minute walk to Wegmans and several local restaurants. We're directly across from Hobart and Williams Smith Colleges! As an added security measure we have a Ring security camera installed at our front entrance. Please be advised that this is an exterior camera. This is a fantastic home base for discovering wineries and breweries in the area! Six parking spots on the premises, additional street parking available adjacent to the entrance. The location of the house is perfect for the race...it is actually closer to the transition and athlete's village than the athlete parking, which was perfect for the race. The run course also goes by the house 4 times and it is a pretty easy walk down to the finish if you are going there. Also a very short walk to the downtown area. The rooms are pretty basic but very clean and the beds were comfortable. We were a bit nervous about the AC situation but the room units does the job incredibly well...we actually had to turn them down because the rooms were getting so cold (and it was 90\* outside). ##### Matt N. Great Location, 6 Bedrooms, 2.5 baths, nice size living room. Very close (walking distance) to the lake, historic district, many great restaurants, and grocery store. Matt was very responsive to all inquiries both before and during our stay. It was very nostalgic for our kids (now in their mid 30's). They grew up in a similar house. The grandkids loved it also. If you love old houses with character and quirkiness, this is the place to stay. If you want new and modern (central air, dishwasher, highly functional kitchen, etc), this might not be for you.
