"The room was clean, bathroom looked somewhat remodeled. Nice bathtub, but nothing to plug it to use as bath. The room definitely showed wear and tear. The back porch overlooking the river was nice, but felt like I was intruding on the family in the cabin across. Very friendly gentleman checking me in. The property is a diamond in the rough, has so much potential but needs cleaning up and maintenence. Since I was in the area to visit the park, I will probably never return. I loved the woodsy decor and wish you luck in bringing it to a 5 star resort!"

"The room was comfortable and clean. I liked having daily cleaning service. The check in staff (Sarah) was most helpful. Decaf coffee was not available anywhere in the hotel which was surprising . Coffee pods of decaf with espresso were available in the room."

"This hotel is great for it's location, which is why my hunny and I decided to stay here praying it would be at least clean! Just to note a few things i'm hoping it is currently under renovations, as the hot tub was not in working condition, the outside pool area not very appealing, windows in the hotels/elevatos need cleaning, breakfast area needs to be kept up, as I went 1 day at 7am when breakfast is set to start and employees were just starting to set up and there was no sugar to be found for the coffee. Another time I advised lady in the front that the coffee was coming out watery and may need to be refilled she told me she would be right there as she sat on her phone at the front desk, about 5 min later she came to refill it with no rush or enthuasism to help the guest. The outside walkway between the buildings was missing a pieve of roof material, looks like storm damage (I took picture) The hotel most defitnely needs some upgrading and deep cleaning. I work in the industry and rent mansions to families, high end guests and so on and customer service & cleanliness are my number #1's, so this is the only reason i'm reviewing, our stay was not awful like I said location was perfect and for what we needed, ( a place to lay our heads for the weekend) it was ok but personally I hope they do some renovations before we come back to Gatlingburg in the fall. Space needle, Sky Park, Anakeesta, Body human, restaurants, wineries & moonshine tasting all in short walking distance."

"The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The walls/doors are thin so there was a toddler babbling and squealing through the door. The balconies were nice. They only have 2 fire pits which were always in use. Overall it was a good stay and the trolley stop into the activities in Gatlinburg is right in front of the hotel. It’s also just a half mile to get to the beginning of the activities."
