"Well, there’s a first for everything. I was lucky enough to experience a bed bug infestation. I called the office to inform them while I was at work. I explained the situation over the phone around 9am and gentleman on the phone sounded like he couldn’t care less. I figured they would call me back once they found. They didn’t. I called a few hours later. Same guy. He’s like “oh yeah, it’s bed bugs; we moved your stuff to another room.” Not apologetic, nothing. Move to new room and wake up this morning with even *more* bites all over my neck, torso, arms and legs. I have to acknowledge that the gentleman with a cast on his forearm was very helpful with washing my clothes and he actually cared about the situation. I was planning on staying here weekly through the summer, as I fly in and out for work. I just can’t. I’ve never dealt with this, as we usually stay at high end hotels. I guess I should have booked a better place. You live and learn. With that said, I am just shocked that the 3 people I spoke with, only one cared. Sent management a message and no response. By the way, the gym is really nonexistent; probably hasn’t been cleaned in a good year. The Bed Bug room still had the same food stains in the microwave from last week when I stayed. There are so many decorative pillows on the bed (that are most likely never washed). So many other places to stay. BTW I always tip well when eating out if the service is bad. Bed bugs is on a whole other level that I have to comment."

"The one positive I experienced at this property was its location. Numerous lies in the listing; most concerning fire extinguisher, first aid kit. Cleanliness was fine until you use anything; missing bulbs, no screens, caulked-over mold in bath, broken table, cockroaches in laundry, bugs coming out of pipes, hornets in the house and fireants abound outside. Used the cheapest jelly air fresheners all over the house with diff. scents everywhere making me nauseous immediately, only find out once airing it out that it is overwhelmed with a musty mold smell, it smelled like a gas leak coming from stove, and they used the cheapest curtain rods possible, breaking every time used. HVAC sounded like a broken washing machine above the bedrooms. Communication was abysmal - "owner" went MIA during check in and then mentioned he was using AI chatbot to answer me, unsupervised. Then after something was resolved in vrbo msgs he started calling/texting my personal number acting like an immature 12yo, and not the housing manager they are pretending to be. He wouldn't stop sending screen shots trying to "prove" he was right about his response. Then gaslit and lied to me about using an AI bot until I sent a screenshot of himself saying that, to which he got defensive and said "you win" as if it was some competition, when all I wanted was more TP/PT. No garbage bags or cleaning supplies left but expects you to do a whole list of cleaning or get charged extra fees. Absolute clown show. Pics avail."
