This modern mid-century ranch-style retreat is filled with amenities for a perfect Lake Michigan getaway, whether you\`re looking to just relax or explore nearby beaches, dunes, and hiking trails. Ideal for families, this smart home accommodates up to 9 guests and features a spacious fenced yard with a large patio, complete with a 6-person hot tub (available year-round), fire pit, and natural gas grill. The open-plan kitchen at Sandhill Flat is fully equipped for cooking any meal. It includes a gas double oven with four burners, dishwasher, fridge/freezer with auto ice-maker, and island seating for four. Coffee enthusiasts will enjoy both a Nespresso machine and Keurig coffee maker, with complimentary capsules and k-cups. All essential cookware, bakeware, glassware, dinnerware, and utensils are provided, along with kids\` dishes and other basic kitchen supplies. Adjacent to the kitchen, the cozy living area has a 65” Smart TV with Xfinity cable, Roku, and more, plus a sofa with a queen pullout bed and two recliners. The family room, also next to the kitchen, includes a banquette-style sofa, extendable dining table for 6-8 guests, a 60” Smart TV, and sliding doors to the yard. Additional folding chairs are available, and the sofa converts to a king-size pullout bed. The home’s three bedrooms offer plenty of space and privacy. There are two queen bedrooms and a bunk room with a twin XL over a queen bed. Each bedroom includes a wall-mounted Smart TV, USB-charging nightstands, sleep machines, fans, and closet space. A full bathroom with a tub, shower, and vanity, along with all linens, bath and beach towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, is provided for your convenience. Laundry is a breeze with the ozone-infused washing machine—no detergent or fabric softener needed! Relax on the expansive patio with a hot tub, gas fire pit, grill, outdoor dining area, hammock, café lighting, seasonal heated shower, and adjacent large backyard surrounded by a 6-foot privacy fence, making it perfect for pets and children. Licensee must be at least 30 years of age. No bachelor or similar groups permitted. No high school, college, after-prom party, or any other underage groups allowed. Must abide by all Terms and Conditions of the signed vacation rental agreement required for rental of any Miller Beach Vacation Rentals property, regardless of booking method (direct or via a third party) Additional Guest fee applies over 6 people: $25/person per night. This covers maintenance/replacement of aerobeds, pullout sofas, extra laundry, increased utility costs, wear and tear, and more. No illegal, dangerous, or non-family oriented activities or items are permitted including, but not limited to, underage drinking, illegal narcotics, strippers, beach fires, kegs, deep fryers, fireworks, other flammable items, etc. No commercial or retail entities or third-party service providers (e.g., catering companies, DJ’s, VJ’s, rental equipment companies, etc.). Outdoor Music is not permitted after 9PM. Small, wireless Bluetooth speakers are permitted except during Quiet Hours (9pm - 9am). Amazing hot tub that made the 20° nights. I feel not so bad! We went to Miller Beach which is less than a 10 minute walk and even for the Fourth, it was relatively quiet and clean. We also went to the Dunes which was about a 20 minute drive. ##### Carla G. The check in process was easy and communication was clear. The place is spacious, clean and stocked well. I was impressed they provided some coffee and sugar packets. The beach is a walkable distance. Food and groceries are not far away. The area lacks a small vacation town feel but the house is great for a cook at home get away. Location was good, towards the West side of the park but an easy drive to multiple hikes. Also had the option to walk directly from the house for the Miller Woods trail and Miller Woods Beach. Backyard was great for relaxing after a day of hiking. Grill was easy to use with the hard lined gas and hot tub was clean and enjoyable. If you do bring more than 2 cars, the remote lot is at the Miller train stop about a mile south. Was a bit nervous about leaving my car for multiple nights but did not have problems. Hot water in the shower was finicky at times. Had some difficulty with check in and had to reach out to the host for door code which they provided. ##### Robert A. She was relaxed and enjoyed her time there. The walk to the beach was a short jaunt, which was really great. The house was comfortable, and we enjoyed grilling and using the hot tub in the backyard. The only issue we had was that the wifi was not working so we were not able to use it for working on our computers or to watch TV. Had issues with WiFi connectivity. Reached out to property manager and was given another option and that one wasn’t any better. The road the house was on, was quiet and I felt safe however the general area and beach, was a bit uneasy. You can walk to the beach from the dead end street adjacent to house. Need to climb a sandy hill to get on a main trail and the follow that trail to the beach parking lot. The later in afternoon it got, the rowdier the crowd and we felt uneasy with the young kids. We ended up driving north to get to a better location. I questioned the safety when booking and was assured the area was safe, cameras in place and yes, street was quiet and felt safe…the surrounding area not so much. ##### Sandra M. While staying has issues with getting gas grill to work due to no long lighter. They did bring one so that was nice. Alot of the outdoor furniture was broken. I didnt like that the gate to the yard was locked and i couldnt go in and out that way. The fire pit wouldnt get a big flame at all. Not worth it to lite. Also not easy to light. The hottub was nice and big but the cover was ripped when we got there. The house was beautiful on the inside and had great curb appeal. It did need some home decor to make it feel more home like. No cleaning supplies was left at all. I wouldve like some clorox wipes or a bottle of cleaner. Overall it was comfortable and clean. Location was good as far as close to alot of beaches.m but very rundown bad neighborhood. I wouldnt rent again for the fact that it was over priced.
