One mile to Yellowstone! Yellowstone Northern Views home just completed in 2018\. The house sits on a hillside which affords it amazing, unobstructed, views into the northern edge of Yellowstone National Park. (@YellowstoneMontanaHomes) From the house you may see herds of bison, elk and pronghorn grazing on the hillsides. The Roosevelt Arch which is the northern entrance to Yellowstone can be seen from the Master Bedroom and front deck. The house itself consists of a Great Room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a utility room. The great room has walnut floors, rock fireplace, huge windows for beautiful views, vaulted ceiling, 2 reclining leather sofas and leather chair. The vaulted ceiling and walnut floors continue through to the kitchen with its granite counter tops, farmhouse sink, top of the line appliances, 2 full ovens, lots of cabinet space and a separate pantry. There are two bedrooms on the upper level. The first bedroom has 1 full bed, the second bedroom has a king-size bed and attached bathroom with glass enclosed, tiled shower. There is an additional full bathroom on the upper level. Both bathrooms have granite counter-tops. There are two bedrooms on the lower level. One bedroom has a queen sized log frame bed, the other has a king-size bed with an attached bathroom. There is an additional bathroom downstairs, also a separate utility room with washer and dryer. Smart televisions with DVD players are in every bedroom with an additional TV in the Great Room. A large deck extends across the front of the house on the upper level. You may access the deck from the over-sized glass sliding door and/or single door in the great room or from the glass door of the master bedroom. There are also outside stairs leading from the lower level to the deck. The house has both central heat AND air which is very much appreciated in the summer! Separate thermostats control the upper and lower level. The house is equipped with a Renai system which provides all of the hot water one needs. Because the house sits on a hillside, you have privacy but are still within walking distance to the town of Gardiner with its restaurants, shopping, grocery store and post office. We would definitely re-book this rental if we come back to the area. Gardiner is a cute town with lots of activities and we never had to wait in line to get through the gates of Yellowstone. This house is absolutely gorgeous and located in the pretty little town of Gardiner. You can actually see the North entrance to the park from the deck of the house - that’s how close it is! The house itself is beautiful, clean, and up-to-date! All of the appliances in the kitchen worked great and were clean, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking for two families. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay here again. The town of Gardiner is quant. We were greeted by momma and baby elk in the road to the rental when we arrived. These are all seasoned wildlife professionals who know a great place when the see it. Every aspect of the home was great and met our needs. The extra supplies in the kitchen helped so we did not have to run to the market for a spoonfull of anything. Hopefully we will be back next year, same time same place. The floor plan of this house was perfect for us. They loved having their own bedroom and each had a bathroom to themselves. The house was well stocked with kitchen equipment, probably the best stocked kitchen in all my years of VRBO rentals. The location is minutes to the North entrance of Yellowstone and the town is small enough that you can walk there easily from the house. The layout of the house was fantastic and the views amazing. The house was spotless and had everything you could ever need. The beds were comfortable. Washer and dryer looked brand new and were huge. It was August but it was cold so we used the gas fireplace and had such a cozy night. The furniture was all top notch. We had two families and the layout was perfect for that with tons of room. This is by far the best vrbo we have every stayed at. Plus it was so close to the entrance to Yellowstone it made getting into the park each day so easy. The teenagers all liked having their own TV.
