'Stunning Views': villa with pool within walking distance to the beach

Built in the early 1900s, 'Stunning Views' is a big villa (700 sq metres), that has belonged to the same family ever since. It is in the lovely area of San Vigilio di Garda, a couple of minutes walk from a very nice beach with great swimming opportunities. It was awarded the 'Best view of Lake Garda 'prize by an Italian villa rental magazine for its views of Lake Garda and the unique famous location of Punta San Vigilio: a lovely, secluded place on Lake Garda. The villa's spacious interiors have just been renovated, (very fast wifi, airconditioning and new interior refurbishing) yet the villa still retains its original charm. The big fenced garden is immersed in a nature reserve with century old trees and rare flowers, walking and MTB paths. Nearby many lovely pretty hamlets of Lake Garda with harbour , castles, wine tasting and delicious restaurants. Venice is only a short drive from the villa, as well as Italian Disneyland 'Gardaland', Verona, Parcosigurtà, Borghetto, Sirmione, Vicenza, Padua, Milan, Bergamo!

Amazing vacation
San Vigilio is the best location and the best beach on Lake Garda, so clean and refreshing! The house is the largest we have ever stayed in (and the garden was massive too!), with top quality luxury airconditioning and wifi. The pool is perfect and clean. They can get you a chef and food delivery for very reasonable prices on request. Food and wine are spectacular BTW. The owners are professional tour guides who will go out of her way to make you feel home and organize the days out / sightseeing. Don't forget Gardaland Disney Park if you have kids, it's only a couple of minutes drive from the property. Rental rates much lower than the other luxury villas on the same beach, as it is a family owned kind of business, and they seem to be very eager to make you want to come back the following summer (which we'll certainly do by the way). You can't go wrong with this imho

PEACEFUL HEAVEN
I never said this in a review, but we liked everything! Miraculous views, gracious hosts, comfy beds, sparkling clean bathrooms, superfast wifi, amazing pool. A local path brings you down to the beach of San Vigilio in four minutes. A great base from which to explore the Veneto (Venice is superb!). Most definitely will be coming back.

Unbeatable
Palatial 19th century country manor rising out of a rocky seafront peak, nestled in "pandemic friendly" glorious isolation 2km south of Torri del Benaco. The beach (ideal for families and children, with sunbeds, bar, restaurants and pizzeria) is a 5 minute walk from the house. The private swimming pool with lounging deck and sunbeds are so relaxing you won't want to ever move from this paradise! The interior oozes style with marble and wood minimalist décor, and boasts high speed wifi, airconditioning and thick stone walls to keep cool in the summer heat. Lush garden with huge carpark.

A memorable family reunion in a beautiful villa
The villa was just as advertised by Maria Laura but the photos did not do the views or the location justice. Up a winding driveway the villa is situated far away from traffic noise and crowds with glorious views of the lake. Mornings and evenings were spent leisurely dining on the patio, the children playing in the grounds or in the pool, with the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Garda. In August the daytime temperatures were very warm but the cool evenings were a delight. The numerous rooms and passages were a haven for the children to explore in the villa, and they were also fortunate to be able to share in the fresh figs from the trees which just happened to be ripe. Every day was filled with a new adventure in surrounding villages and towns, each with its own special character, food and wine. Venice was one major day trip which was filled with suprises and photo opportunities at every turn. Alas, we were not able to see as many sights as planned. We were however very happy to potter around and relax by the lake, and to take in the local ambiance. More to look forward to for our next visit which we will certainly do. Maria Laura made sure that our stay went according to plan and was in communication throughout our visit to make sure we had what we needed. The whole transaction and organization of the visit was smooth and without any issues at all. If you are looking for a very authentic Italian experience, in a rustic location, surrounded by scenic vistas and lots of history, this unique location is for you.
