"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed as a group of 4 golfers and it was ideal with 3 bedrooms (one bedroom also has a separate room with a set of bunks off it) plus a bungalow and the space was ideal. Great outdoor covered seating area, excellent kitchen and the pool and BBQ area are just as in the photos. Air conditioning in the main house but not in all bedrooms - ceiling fans were sufficient as the temperatures were a max of about 28. 650m walk into town so that made eating out easy and 300m to Dutchies beach which is a lovely little spot. Easy self check in and staff at Stay Port Stephens were great to deal with - thanks especially to Joy who answered my questions and worked to get us an early check in. We didn't want to leave as it's such an easy place to relax in a very quiet area. This house is ideal and hope to visit again."

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location, layout and views were amazing. Unfortunately the stay was completely overshadowed by the lack of cleanliness and old or not working appliances. The kitchen had dirty utensils still covered in food, greasy handprints on the cupboards, the dishwasher had previous guests dishes that I had to unpack. The oven didn’t work, neither did the ice or cold water dispenser on the fridge. Kitchen lights had cobwebs as did the living area, complete with bugs and spiders. The cinema room was just as bad — old food and lollies wedged between the seats, the TV in the cinema room was so old it cant play Netflix ? TV also had exposed cords, internet was intermittent. The floor to ceiling windows looked liked they had been wiped with a dirty mop and had very noticeable dirty streaks. Outside, the bbq was great. Some outdoor furniture was covered in mould and bbq seating area had stacks of unused tiles. This was so not the luxury accommodation advertisd, especially for this price."
