"This was an ideal complement to our Route 66 road trip. The minute you walk in the door you are transported to bygone days in all the most wonderful ways. The lobby was warm and inviting with a fire roaring in the giant fireplace. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The on-site gift shop, dining room and bar made this a perfect one stop shop for any traveller. I would highly recommend El Rancho to anyone traveling through the area."

"The staff was so nice, happy and helpful. The room was clean and smelled fresh. Parking was convenient and felt safe. We didn't eat the breakfast but the dining area was clean and food selections looked good. The only issues were that the heater/air was not easily regulated and we were in a room on the side of the hotel near a truck stop/parking area and heard revving of engines most of the night. We may ask to stay in the other side of the hotel the next time. We also loved the patriotism displayed in the lobby and veteran museum items. We would stay here again."
