Host was great at communicating and was so kind to leave a few treats to enhance our stay. The accommodations were very quaint, comfortable and clean and appreciated that they stocked items just in case (toothbrush, shampoo, etc.). Parking was a big plus as was the very close proximity to downtown Galena- easy walk but far enough away from the hustle & bustle. Hope to stay again soon! ##### Amy B. Went with a friend and we both found the beds to be really comfortable! This is a 2nd story unit. Hosts had individual snacks for us and Kcups for the kuerig machine which was a nice touch! Parking was available right behind unit. Easy to get downtown walking or driving. There is not a full kitchen but a mini refrig, microwave and kuerig machine which was all we needed. Location is fantastic. Hosts were very easy to work with and had excellent communication! Cozy 2 bed with sitting area - no TV, but lots of games and spots to curl up with a good book. Narrow stairs up to unit as mentioned in description. The unit is a bit drafty and had some ladybugs during our stay - but expected in a home of this age. Also to note -- is right on one of the main streets and near train tracks, so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs, as it can get noisy. There are stairs to get up to the unit on the second floor. The rooms were comfortable and all of the fixtures work well for their age.
