Room is very spacious, our room is located at attic at a building cross a busy road from where hotel reception is , has no lift , lucky we don’t have large luggage .
Good breakfast but very limited choice .
There was tooth brush or sewing kits available.
Not quite sure how 5 stars rated. Only a basic B&B

We had a wonderful, large room looking over Princes Street. We stayed in February which meant that the rate was very reasonable. We visited the in-house cinema one night - this makes this hotel pretty unique. We would definitely stay here again if coming to Edinburgh.

"Property was clean but room 3063 definitely needs some attention. Mould in sealant in bathroom, stained carpet, window pane cracked (luckily double glazed). Additionally an alarm went off one morning at 5.40am for approx 30 seconds. No acknowledgment from the hotel at all and completely ruined sleep, ..."
