One of the queen beds didn’t have sheets in it. Bathroom was old and out dated. Tub was rusty. Beds were comfortable. Room did have a musty smell. Overall we felt safe but facility is run down.

For starters, my expectations were low for a sixty dollar per night room. The staff was okay. The area was okay, not much to look at in this town. I walk in, it looked as expected and actually smelled good. The problem came when I pulled out my disinfecting wipes. They became black the more I cleaned. I also saw 3 roaches later that night.

I sort of feel bad about writing this review-- the staff was very friendly and quick to make things right... but it shouldn't have gotten to this point in the first place. Aside from one other person I think I was the only customer staying for the weekend. The room I was given was not good at all; a lone wooden desk chair was broken and the toilet seat was chipped and certainly seen better days. Then I hit the place with a UV light-- luckily, the bedding and floors were clean, but the walls definitely needed a scrubbing. I went to talk to management (if only to tell them I didn't break the chair) and they immediately put me in a marginally nicer room, which was nice. The "A-OK" Motel needs a remodel, so right now it's just an "OK" motel.

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had in a Motel. Do not stay here. I was in town for the Muenster, TX Germanfest Bike Rally and selected the facility due to location. I did not expect it to be a Holiday Inn or Hampton, but I did expect it to be clean, and it was not even close to being clean. Spend an extra 80$ and stay at the Lindsay Inn closer to Gainsville, TX, or just stay in Gainsville and drive in for the Bike Rally or Germanfest. It was so bad, I left and went to find another place to stay. Do not waste time or money with this place.

Name of the hotel pretty much describes it, ay ok

Needed an affordable place to crash for the night and found this place, the reviews said no bugs and clean so we went for it. Its a bit run down and could use updating and better comforters but its decent to crash for a night.
