Hervorzuheben ist die Ruhe auf der Terrasse mit Blick ins Natuschutzgebiet und auf den Seerücken.Die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Entgegen der Anzeige gab es sogar Badetücher für den Strand, die wir allerdings nicht nutzen konnten, weil der Pegel des Untersees bei Horn das Baden zur Schlammschlacht machte. Häufig haben wr die gute Busverbindung nach Stein und Radolfzell genutzt. Brötchen gibt es fußläufig auf dem Campingplatz bei sehr netten Verkäuferinnen, die Restauants "Zum Hirschen" und "Seehörnle" sind nicht billig, aber sehr gut.
