There was nothing close to the property. The room was so small that we felt like we were on a cruise. Only good thing is it's a new building and the staff can speak English. If you can drive in Japan, then not bad. Otherwise, you are stuck there. Sooner or later people will find out how good it is and when I come back to Furano next year it will be all be booked up!! The amenities are easily 4 star hotel level and up. Good onsen with great shower, indoor and outdoor areas. Seriously you don’t even need to use the shower in your room, and one should just come to the onsen everyday. Great and easy to access ski locker room with boot dryers. Three minute walk to the gondola station. The breakfast option is insane as well - both Japanese and western items. They even serve icecream during breakfast - I mean even my son only gets that once a year on his birthday only but here you gotta do it everyday. It’s close to the kitanomine gondola. I liked the interior design of the hotel. The staff are super friendly, great attitude, willing to help but some staff members are not experienced from a hotel operations perspective. This may be due to the hotel being very new still. The breakfast has a really good selection and tastes great but it would be good if there were more fruit and vegetable choices. They should definitely use smaller containers for some of the food so they don’t look like leftovers. The ski room humidity level is not low enough. It smells a bit and my gear didn’t dry overnight. The bar area is hang out for a drink apres ski, but was also a great place to do work. I would stay again for sure, but I would bring my own pillow.
