Coming from a family of winemakers for 5 generations, "from mother to daughter or almost" as she likes to specify, Sophie opens the doors of an original country house from 1953 restored with a sweet family history, with typical "fifties" architecture, nestled on the edge of vineyards on the small family wine estate of 4.5 ha which she runs with her husband according to the principles of organic farming (several AOCs of the Mâconnais including the famous Pouilly-Fuissé & Saint-Véran / visit & tasting possible on request). Peace and tranquility in the heart of the unspoiled Mâconnais countryside, nestled within a peaceful residential hamlet just a stone's throw from the picturesque village center of Fuissé, a jewel of the renowned Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Nestled in an exceptional landscape, in the hollow of a bucolic valley of vineyards overlooked by the wooded ridges of a protected forest massif, designated a Natura 2000 site and a ZNIEFF (Zone Naturelle d'Intérêt Écologique, Faunistique et Floristique) for its rich fauna and flora. Magnificent panoramic views and surrounding landscapes. A truly beautiful wine-growing setting, utterly soothing and relaxing. Spacious and comfortable gîte. Warm country charm with a touch of vintage. Large courtyard (a veritable natural pétanque court) offering a terrace/garden area (with artificial turf) and a large covered terrace (with a summer kitchen). Composition: Detached house adjoining the owners' house and a second family residence occupied year-round on a small vineyard (completely independent access). Wi-Fi. Gas central heating. Country house from 1953 with typical "fifties" architecture nestled on a small family vineyard of 4.5 ha operated according to the principles of organic farming, a stone's throw from the centre of the picturesque wine village of Fuissé located 6 km from the market town of Charnay-les-Mâcon (supermarket 6.5 km away) & 9 km from Mâcon, the southernmost city of Burgundy nestled on the banks of the Saône (run alongside the Voie Bleue adjoining the EuroVélo17 & "ViaRhôna" cycle routes). Calm and tranquility in the heart of the Mâconnais countryside, nestled in the hollow of a sublime hilly setting of bucolic vineyard slopes and beautiful wild forests (protected in Natura 2000 Zone & ZNIEFF for its rich ecosystems) in the extension of the sumptuous landscape jewel neighbouring the Roches de Solutré & Vergisson labelled "Grand Site de France" (located 4.5 km away), next to the vineyards of the renowned "Val Lamartinien" (named after the famous French poet and politician, illustrious guest of the place), facing the wooded foothills of the South Burgundy massif.
