The room was small, but charming. It was perfectly fine for what we needed. Very conveniently located just a couple of blocks from the city center, where we found shopping and dining. The bathroom needed some upgrades - water pressure, water temperature were a bit of a miss and the hand-held shower head was leaking!

This was a great hotel! Directly across from the train station and block away from the old town - perfect location. Staff were fry, hotel was clean and room was spacious and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Refurbished and quite nicely done. An email to share alternate directions to the premises during extensive construction restricting access to the hotel would have been very much appreciated. Also, only 1 very young staff member on duty when we checked in. Extreme lack of information and signage to navigate sprawling premises with 3 different wings with separate elevators. Arrived on a dark rainy night and it took more than an hour to get our belongings to our room. Encountered several other frustrated guests that were lost and confused as well.

The manager was very nice when we checked in. Checking out waa okay. We were suppose to get a discount on the shop next-door, but the women we checked our with (both hotel & shop) didn't give us the discount...which was disappointing! Room was clean.

Check in closes at 8:30, then the adventure begins
My daughter and I got to the hotel at 8:45pm, it was dark, and there was an unsafe feel in the air. We were happy that the hotel was right across the street from the train station, so we could get in quickly. But, nope, we ended up doing an "escape room" type of adventure... The note on the door gave us several steps to follow to get to a call box. Then the person answering the call gave even more detailed instructions. All this included going around the outside of the entire hotel, finding a specific parking spot, going behind a hidden wall, answering a ringing phone outside a door, putting in a code, and using a blue token to unlock the door. Maybe we would have enjoyed this unusual policy, had it been daytime and we were not exhausted from travel, but having to use your cell phone flashlight to find your way around was frustrating and scary.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was clean and large, but did not have the "second" space separated out. No air conditioning that we could figure out. Our room was in a building across the street from the lobby and parking.

The rooms are huge, clean, and comfortable. The only thing that would have made this better would have been a kettle with instant coffee or tea in the rooms. However, there are restaurants and cafes so close that it was easy enough to get coffees.

The Central City Hotel is a beautiful property, recently renovated, and in a great location in the center of Füssen. The staff were welcoming and very helpful during our stay.

A good hotel with a good location
The hotel was a great hotel with a great location. The breakfast was a little skimpy compared to other places we stayed at in Germany, but it was filling and worth the cost. Would stay here again.

the staff were nice breakfast was good in the morning. the room wasn't that clean and tiles had fallen off the walls and covered up with a chair the bathroom was so small you couldn't even turn around in it.

ATTENTION THEY DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS! & there is only one place in town to change money, which you must do at 9am, as they are only open till noon and only change money at specific times. Check in was delightful, the lady who helped me was so kind and let us change rooms as the 1st room was on the street ground floor where road construction was taking place. Took a 2nd floor room on the other side of the hotel which was great. Hotel is very conveniently located in the town. Fuessen - which was one of our favorite stops in Bavaria and Austria. We could have spent more time here, everything was so beautiful. But upon check out the hotel owner was very upset that we only had Amex with us. Our Visa cards are all tied to bank accounts & we didn't feel safe carrying them. We had not seen upon booking at this property that they don't accept Amex. it was something I was specifically looking for on all my reservations, but I must have missed it. He was demanding cash as a payment, but we didn't have enough as finding money exchange places in Bavaria was the most difficult we have ever experienced in all our travels. I was finally able to convince him to allow me to PayPal him the funds for an added fee. It was a big mess and upsetting for everyone. I've traveled all over the world, and never had an experience like this. My suggestion to the property owner was to make it more apparent that he doesn't accept Amex on the booking details.

Dear guest, first of all thank you very much for ypur feedback. It is very.nice to read that you liked your stay in our hotel very much. The 3 of 5 points you gave us only because YOU DID NOT READ THAT WE ACCEPT ONLY VISA OR MASTERCARD. WE DID NOT CONSIST OF PAYING IN CASH. WE DO NOT ACCEPT AMERICAN EXPRESS. THE SIMPLE REASON IS THAT AMERICAN EXPRESS CREDIT CARDS ARE TOO EXPENSIVE FOR US IF WE ACCEPT PAYMENTS WITH THEM. you say that we are th first place you saw worldwide who do not accept Amex. I do not believe you. Usually everyone who has an Amex has also a Visacard or Mastercard in his bag. We must not pay for your point you get from Amex if you pay with Amex. Moreover you are also the first guest we met that does not carry a Visa or a MasterCard who also have an Amex. Usually Amex clients know this problem. We had a lobg discussion about that. The problem caused at check out was your fault not our fault because you felt afraid to loose your otthe cards. But the main point is that you had a good stay in our great hotel.
