"Second year here. Chalet is exactly as described. Very, comfortable, clean and well equipped. Quiet , picturesque location. Easy access to ski bus. Fred, local ski hire shop, very good. Used the well stocked small Carrefour in Moriond for our “supplies”, didn’t seem to be that expensive . We’ll hopefully return."

"Overall a nice chalet and a great position in the village, perfect for our needs. Nice kitchen and large living area with good size table. Great to have 3 showers and plenty of storage for 8 of us. Plenty of hot water and heating works well throughout. We would suggest an update to lounge/seating area but perhaps some lounge chairs. Village has 3 good resturants and bars are good. Well stocked Sherpa shop with fresh bread and all essentials. We will recommend to others!"

"Plenty of room in the Chalet for our group and nice to have the games room as well, not something we've had before. The location suited us well, we could walk into the village each evening for a meal (15-20min) with plenty of restaurants to choose from and just a short drive to the ski lift with free parking. You will need your own car and the Chalet is an older one but that was reflected in the listing just don't expect it to be brand new"

"8 en suite bedrooms and a gorgeous kitchen and living room. Highly recommend for a group of friends. A walk to the bus stop and a decent journey to the major ski lifts, but a worthy compromise for such a great house! And the hosts were super accommodating for check in and check out."

"We loved this beautiful, charming, rustic traditional Chamonix chalet nestled in the quiet part of Chamonix. Only a short 15 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the centre of Chamonix and yet the chalet was so peaceful and quiet at all times. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. It was an absolute joy and pleasure to stay here. We shall return!"

"We have just returned from a great week, the chalet was great, nice and clean with everything you require for a stay. The kitchen is well equipped with spices and a few sauces sugar etc. Jacky was very helpful to us as he knows the local area really well, he gave us advice for buses up to the ski areas. We tended to jump the number 2 bus most days and the bus stop is just up from the school around the corner. We walked into town one day and that is straight forward didn't take long at all to...

"Leider mussten wir in der Küche alles zuerst putzen bevor wir es benutzen konnten. Auch den Grill konnte man nicht benutzen da er so dreckig war. Die Polster auf der Lounge draussen waren zerrissen und voll mit Vogelkot. Für diesen Preis hätte ich etwas anderes erwartet."

"Chalet Oscar is in a fantastic location central to town. We had a big group (6 adults and one infant) which works well in the layout of the chalet. It is only 8 mins walk to a great bakery, 2 minutes walk to a fantastic bar and about 10 minute into the centre of town. Access to activities was brilliant and we got free train passes from the tourist office which made for a great week when not much else was open. She kindly provided us with some local snacks and went out of her way to get milk we had requested for our arrival for a long awaited cup of tea for my husband after a long day travelling! "l’ours Brun is a great chalet in a great location literally a stones throw from 2 lifts. The kitchen was new and really well equipped. Great dining table that can comfortably seat 16. Living area is spacious and comfortable. There is a large wraparound balcony that is a great sun trap in the afternoon. 4 main bedrooms are small but comfortable - 2 en suite and a separate shower room for the other 2. There are then 2 bunk rooms which worked brilliantly for us as we had 3 girls and 5 boys - each...
