The door had no latch plate in the door jam. The only thing holding the door closed was the hole in the jam so the door rattled all night. The floor was buckled in front of the bathroom. There was paint on the floor. The TV did not work. At least the sheets were clean.
Everything was fine except for one MAJOR thing, which is that the shower nozzle was BROKEN. When we desperately needed hot showers after a 12 hr drive.
I checked in and they said I had two reservations, they said I would have to cancel and rebook at a higher price. After a discussion, I showed them my reservation and they said that was ok. I got to my room, TV didn't work and when I went to take a shower there was long clumps of hair in various parts of the shower. Not a little, a lot. I went to the front desk and they changed my room to the next one over. The toilet paper roll wasn't there and the front part of the bathroom counter was missing. I put a pizza box onto a cardboard box by the overflowing garbage on the first night and it was still there after two days and the garbage hadn't been changed. Just not a nice place to stay.
This hotel is outdated. TV was tiny and did not have the capability of watching regular TV without using my phone. It was not worth the rate I paid. Through Expedia.

2/10 Terrible

Disliked: Staff & service
The staff was absolutely horrible and they were trying to get me to pay way more than the said price. And wanted to give me a room i did not ask for. Absolutely terrible.
When I got to the address listed in this booking it was an abandoned Days Inn with no people in site. There was zero signage indicating I was in the right place and it felt unsafe and super sketchy. I did not stay here and will be using my travel insurance for false advertising/the motel not apparently existing as advertised
This stay was very uncomfortable. Showed up to a deserted Hotel. They gave us a room in the back of the hotel. Also gave the same location to the four other guests. So everyone can hear each other. Given two towels No hands soap so room was not checked before hand it was changed with a key locked to the counter top. Water was not hot. Safe not bolted to floor. Refrigerator leaked on floor. Remote to old TV did note work. Advertised heated pool and breakfast. Those both were not available. Screen check out.
I would not recommend staying here. The sign out front advertises free breakfast and free Wi-Fi, but during my stay they had neither.
The property was disappointing. People were hanging around drinking alcohol and smoking what appeared to be marijuana inside and in the parking lot/lounge areas, and management didn’t seem to address it.
I was also asked to cancel my reservation through the booking site and pay the hotel directly in cash, which made me uncomfortable.
The pool and gym were in poor condition. Most of the gym equipment didn’t work, the pool area smelled terrible, and the hot tub has been broken for months. It didn’t appear to be secured very well either.
There is also no elevator, making it difficult for guests with disabilities or mobility issues to access upstairs rooms.
I stayed here about five months ago and the conditions were the same.
The worst part was when my daughters (13 and 14) came to visit me. We had only been in the pool about 10 minutes when staff demanded I pay an extra $50 per child because they weren’t on my reservation and said they would call the police if I didn’t. And they was only visiting not staying just spending time with their dad.
Years ago this hotel was much better. The previous owners or management were friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. For the price they’re charging, I’d recommend staying somewhere else where you’ll be treated with more respect.
This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed in. The room was not clean. It was actually disgusting. The pillows on our bed looked like lumps of coal and that is generous. The tub was disgusting and was completely out of body wash. We had to go to the front desk at 9:30 at night and they said they would bring some down immediately so we could shower. An hour and a half later they finally showed up. We were already in bed asleep because we got tired of waiting and they pounded on the door until we finally answered waking us all up. Instead of just handing us the bottle and telling us they are sorry, she was trying to insist that she come into the room right then and replace it. We asked for a receipt when we checked out. We never got one. They were supposed to email it. The side door leading to the outside is supposed to be locked at night to protect the guests. Not only was it not locked, the lock was completely missing and there was a hole in the door. The refrigerator had what appeared to be mold growing in it. The microwave was filthy. They left a half used roll of toilet paper on the counter and it looked like it had been wet. They replaced the roll in the bathroom. There was no bar for the toilet paper to be put on so it just sat there. For the cost of the room for one night- it was appalling.
