"First of all, it's a Motel 6, not the Ritz and we didn't expect much. However, we stayed here two years ago (everything else close to Monterey was full because of the Salinas rodeo), taking a chance on a Motel 6, and were pleasently surprised because it was nice, clean, quiet, and accepted pets. ..."
