Location: It's located in the old town so everything is an easy walk. This includes restaurants, pubs and sites. Parking is offside but only a 5 min walk and convenient for access and departure. Hotel: Comfortable basic rooms that is good for a 2-3 day stay. Staff: Very nice and helpful. Gave suggestions for restaurants and things to see.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel and it was wonderful. We arrived in Bamberg on Sunday morning (well before check-in) and were able to store our luggage and we were also given a map of Old Town and a list of cafes that we could visit while we waited for our check-in time. The room was lovely and spacious, and the air conditioning was a nice surprise (and very welcome with the unusually warm weather. The breakfast was also great with lots of choices and a large, comfortable...

It is a real castle that you stay like in middle age but with modern comfort e.g. villeroy & boch dinning wears, heated towel bar ... The restaurant and rooms have good view. The breakfast are excellent. They pay a lot of attention to details, even to the boiled eggs - 5 minutes and keep them warm in a blanket wrapped basket. Extraordinary experience.

Fantastic hotel! One that is most conveniently located especially if driving into old town. Spacious, quiet and clean room. Would highly recommend.

The breakfast buffet was incredible and lots of very friendly staff. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and the food was excellent and the gentleman waiting on us was so professional. The bed was very comfortable and the room was totally silent at night. I spend well over 100 nights a year in hotels and the Herzogs Park is top 1% in every regards. I come to Nuremberg every second year and I will make sure that this is the hotel that I stay at next time.

The hotel is situated in the center of a charming, walkable city. We enjoyed the variety of restaurant options available within a quick walk. The property itself is very charming.
