Features 4 spacious bedrooms, main with en-suite, 2 other toilets and shower, large modern kitchen, spacious lounge/dining room with a very warm combustion heater (wood supplied), large rear veranda with gas BBQ, Webber Kettle BBQ and open fire pit for those cosy evening fires. Accommodation was very clean and very comfortable, the wood fire really heated the house well and we enjoyed making use of the outdoor fire pit. The kitchen was large and very well stocked with utensils and cooking items. Use of the oven was unclear and we couldn’t work it out, we had planned oven meals (thinking it was a gas oven) but needed to use the microwave instead. It was very comfortable and is warmed by a combustion heater. The house is off grid, so water and power are all maintained on site, we followed the simple rules set out by the owner and we had zero problem. Handy to whale watching cruise we did and travel to the head of the Bight. Cottage was spacious and a great entertainer. Large outdoor area with BBQ, large living areas, two bathrooms, huge lounge/dining area. Separate kitchen. Wished I had brought more people with us, would be great for two families to share. We didn't have issues with running out of gas or electricity - just follow the rules. TV reception is a bit hit and miss but not a problem for us.
