Delightful 2 bed character cottage, ideal Polruan location with stunning views

A delightful traditional cottage set in the heart of the ancient fishing village of Polruan.
Views of the estuary and Fowey from the living room, with the Atlantic sea a minute from the back garden. Fast and free internet. King size bed and bunk beds.
The cottage is a 5 minute walk from the Beach, shop, bakery, pubs and is a short ferry ride across from Fowey. The rest of Cornwall to discover is on your doorstep to discover.
Down at the harbour you will find 2 pubs, both serving great food throughout the day. There are 2 beaches, ideal for paddle boarding and a great ferry services that runs throughout the day across to Fowey. This is a short trip and takes around 10 minutes to cross the Estuary over to Fowey on the Polruan passenger ferry. Fowey is full of shops, eateries, pubs, beach and a harbour. It is well worth a visit and day well spent exploring all it has to offer, especially Readymoney beach.
There are many beautiful walks, coast paths, beaches and coves to walk. Our favourite has to be Atlantic Bay and Ready money beach. Both with Parking. For walkers, the coast path is just yards from the cottage and the Hall Walk is highly recommended, starting in Polruan by the Harbour and ending in Fowey overlooking the beautiful Fowey estuary.
There are a selection of board games in the property to keep you entertained in the evenings. We hope you love our cottage as much as we do and have a wonderful time exploring the beautiful landscape and beaches of Polruan and Fowey.

Short Break
This property is set on a steep incline with steps up to the property and no parking near the property. You can park in a public pay and display car park which is a 10 minute walk away. The property is on a split level with the kitchen and bathroom downstairs and the bedrooms and lounge upstairs. The heating was not great with no heating in the second bedroom. It’s quite peaceful and the walks are nice but you need good mobility and a car to see the surrounding area.

Beautiful place
We loved Polruan. The view from the cottage is spectacular over the harbour and Fowey. There are beautiful walks on your doorstep. The cottage is very cosy, the bed very comfy and we enjoyed the local shops and pub. Everyone we met was very friendly. We would love to come back.

Lovely little cottage
The cottage is delightful - comfortable, clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is very well located in the village and has a lovely outdoor sitting area. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner was very responsive to queries. Polruan is a very special place.
