St Catherine’s Court is a fine Victorian residence which has been converted into holiday apartments. It enjoys a prime position overlooking the estuary. The sandy beach at Readymoney Cove is only a 5-minute walk away, and a 10-minute stroll takes you to the town centre in the opposite direction. This second floor apartment has a well-equipped kitchen and there are glimpses of the river from the bedroom, and spectacular views over the river, Polruan and out to sea from the large bay window in the living/dining room. The cosy property is centrally heated and has a particularly homely and friendly atmosphere. This flat was in an excellent location in Fowey, with superb views over the estuary. We appreciated the comfort and warmth and the included parking right outside. When the weather was poor, we were happy to sit in the large bay window and enjoy the view. The only downside for some people might be the number of steps (45) it took to reach the entrance, the rather outdated shower over the bath, and the small size of the kitchen, but none of these were a problem for us and we would not hesitate to go again.
