Shaded home with sunny dock. Float down the river or watch the current in this spring fed crystal clear water. Fishing, boating, snorkeling, cave diving, scuba, swimming. Covered, and screened front porch, covered parking. With over 100 ft waterfront view of the crystal clear Ichetucknee River, our home features an open floor plan for the living, dining, and kithchen. The master bedroom has a private full bath and opens onto the sundeck which over looks the river. The other three bedrooms and full bath, have two queen size beds and a king. The living room opens onto the screened porch that also overlooks the river. The entire house is on stilts with parking underneath plus plenty of parking for boats. COMPLETELY FURNISHED...bring your personal items, food, clothes & a desire for a relaxing vacation. We have all dishes, utensils, linens, towels and more. Satellite TV throughout . Boat ramps available.

Honestly, I can't see how this place has high ratings. To start, the dust was everywhere, Cobwebs inside and inbetween screens of windows that look like they've been there for a long time. I had to clean the pots, baking pans we used as well as the blender. Refrigerator was dirty with leftover condiments. Oven cleaner was not wiped clean. The decks could had atlease been swept from so much limbs and leaves. The doors around the handles look like they had not been clean in years. Bathroom faucet had a rim of slime. If they did a deep clean and update the 70's furniture, i would had rated it higher.

Tranquil getaway
This home is perfect for a relaxing a getaway. Joe was extremely friendly and easy to work with. We brought our paddle boards and enjoyed cruising up and down the river all day. There was a great space for cooking out and entertaining. We have stayed here on and off for years and it never disappoints.

We really enjoyed the property. House was clean and spacious. Loved the screened porch. No issues with bugs! The river access was easy, although, we would recommend bringing water shoes to float the river. Several stores are close by in case you need anything. We had 8 people stay comfortably for 3 nights. Highly recommend.

Our stay in paradise
We have stayed here before. It just keeps getting better each time. Hopefully we'll be able to do this on a yearly basis at this wonderful house. You don't need to bring anything anything at all just your clothes. Easy reservation everything was easy.

Always a pleasure
It’s always a dilemma whether or not to leave a good review for this place because I love it so much I don’t want anyone else booking it. That being said I’ve been coming here for a long time. It’s a great location and I look forward to booking again next year. During my stay an older couple stopped in to check the place out because they were worried about the stairs into the house, I would not recommend anyone with accessibility issues book here as you need to be able to climb stairs to make access to the house as well as the dock.

The River House is truly something special - our boys stayed here once when they were little, and now again as they're young adults, and they loved it (in different ways) both times. Very comfortable house and surroundings. I hope we go back for a 3rd time!

Our family enjoyed our Easter vacation by the river. The house is perfect for us and our children loved spending time on the river. Tubing was a big hit. 2 large manatees and a baby came right up by the dock to say high. The upgrades to the house since we were last there are great. Just a heads up that 3 of the rooms have full size beds, not Queens. Wasn't an issue for us but may be for some. We look forward to being there again sometime in the future.

Great place on the Ichnetucknee
Great weekend get away for a big group of friends. The house was very large and well furnished with everything needed. It was very comfortable for all 8 of us. Sitting out on the dock during the day and evenings was awesome. Nice hot water, good wifi, covered parking, plenty of seating… lots to like about the house! But still the best was being right on the river. Would definitely love to book again.

Large rooms
We spent 7 nights at the property with our 2 sons and their families. There were 9 of us and i never felt crowded. Time was spent both inside and out. The bedrooms, kitchen and living room are large. The living furniture is tired and could use an update. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen has plenty of utensils, cookware and shes but bring your own kitchen towels. During our stay we experienced a plumbing issue where the toilets gurgled each time they were flushed. There is a screened in deck that had furniture and, again, an update here would be great. Dock was used daily and kids and adults fished and swam. We spotted several large fish, manatees and birds. We had to buy kleenex, toilet paper, hand soap and dish soap while staying as they ran out or werent provided. Overall, i would recommend for large families looking for a river adventure.
